I really loved the scent that greeted me when I entered the hotel. The lobby smelled like a SPA, setting a great tone. Check-in was seamless; our bags were held and taken to our room when it was ready. The room itself was very clean. Most staff were polite. The bellhops and housekeeping staff seemed friendliest, even though they didn’t fully speak English. And the food was flavorful.
The hotel’s near the airport, and the location is close to restaurants, shopping spots, and nighttime activities. As an English-speaking tourist, I understand I’m a guest in a country where English isn’t the national language. I confirmed the hotel could accommodate me before booking. Having said that, the language barrier did create a few communication errors. On 2 occasions, I inquired with the front desk staff and got wrong information because they misunderstood my request. I let it go.
SPA services seem more cultural than international, so I’d thoroughly inquire before booking a service to prevent disappointment. All in all, I’d rate the hotel a 4 out of 5.
