I would rate this higher than 5 if I could. Location was perfect for going to Butchart Gardens. The water taxi was very convenient and the guys running the boats did a great job helping us older folks get in and out. Food at the pub was great and reasonably priced for a resort. Staff were all pleasant and efficient. The one, extremely minor, negative appeared to be poor communication between servers and the kitchen. For example, we ordered one dish to split and they gave us 2. The server had only charged for 1. Would definitely HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Great place to stay and experience the area. Go do the Pacifica paddle sports bioluminescence tour while you are here!

When we arrived , the welcome was helpful and checking professional. Beautiful setting and great view from our room. We were in our 28 ft RV and they had no problem providing a secure parking place for our vehicle and ebikes. This property exceeded our expectations.

Beautiful resort right next to the harbor. Lovely boat ride to Butchart Gardens. Everything was top drawer including the food.

Nice break

Excellent stay for a relaxing break before returning home after 6weeks holiday. Balcony overlooking the bay and ferry terminal. Spacious room with a view out from the bathroom!

The peacefulness of BBR was beyond our expectations. The area has so much to do if you want to participate in activities. The resort has many relaxing places to be. The views are top notch and the food was always excellent. If you have the opportunity to stay for a few days, do it.

Really pleased with our stay. The room was large, clean, quiet and comfortable. The pool and sundeck were lovely. The service from the staff at check-in, the pool bar and the pub was excellent. Would also highly recommend the boat service that the hotel runs to Butchart which is well worth the extra to do.

Exceeded expectations- absolutely beautiful resort. Very peaceful and attention to details throughout to make our stay seamless and relaxing. Highly recommend.
