Our room, 211, smelled awful… like spoiled milk. Window doesn’t shut completely. The corner chair was stained and dirty. Black mold on the bathroom ceiling with no working vent. The mattress was comfortable, the pillows were old and very much used. Throughout the building there were unfinished pieces of ceiling and molding. Very much dated. The breakfast leaves much to be desired. Access to the hotel is very easy and it’s easily navigable to campus/downtown. It’s a good place to stay if you’re on a tight budget, but I’d use my own blanket, pillow and towel for cleanliness.

When I woke up the first night I itched like crazy and found bugs in my bed I don't think they were bed bugs. They changed my sheets and cleaned the room again and seemed to solve the problem. Staying here saved me $300, that is the only reason why I staid & didn't go to another hotel.

The staff was nice here, but there's nothing Lavish about this place. The room smelled musty; the bathroom smelled like it had never been cleaned. I asked twice for an ozone machine to remove the musty smell, but nobody ever brought one. Paint was pealing off the walls. No opaque privacy curtains for a 1st floor room, so either everyone could look in or you closed the curtains and sat in the dark. Windows were old and moldy. Only 2 pillows for 2 guests with no extras in the room. At that point I gave up asking for things that probably wouldn't materialize. The free breakfast wasn't much. Rubbery, cold eggs, sugary cereals, no real half and half; just flavored creamers for coffee, which was full of grounds. Can't imagine I'd ever stay here again.

I was there for seven nights. I didn’t care about the bed. But I had to find the maid to o hand her wet towels and get fresh ones. I had to find her to get toilet tissue. Nobody emptied my trash No housekeeping services at all. I planned to do laundry in the evening when I was going to be leaving at six am one morning and wanted to wear the clothes I was going to wash only to discover that the laundry was closed early that night because someone was staying in the adjacent room. An upholstered chair in the room looked so dirty I put a towel over it to sit on it. There is information in the room about the v controls but the photo is of the wrong controls. I have stayed here at least a dozen times in the past and it has changed for the worse.

I’ve stayed here multiple times and this time the smell of smoke was horrible. Also you should go back to serving coffee later at the front desk. Stopping at 9am is way too early!

Very quirky. They sell ramen bowls, but no way to get hot water than to get the front desk to unlock the breakfast kitchen/room. Room smelled weird, as well. No bedbugs though, I don't think.

Continental breakfast was very sparse with very few options first day they did have yogurt, second day there was none. Coffee was good

Very convenient location. Walking distance from downtown and grocery stores. Was clean enough to stay in there. But I would have expected a cleaner place for the price that was being charged. Staff were friendly and accommodating

I had to wait over 10 minutes to get checked in and by the time someone showed up at the desk there were three other people in line waiting to get checked in. There was long black hair on the floor of the bathroom when we arrived. When we went to breakfast there was no coffee made and there was no hot water for tea. Waffle maker is terrible. Waffles were raw.

Clean, excellent staff. Great option for the price.

This hotel was old and tired and over priced for the poor condition it is in.
