Didn’t use spar , plenty of shops

So noisy on weekends. Can hear music from clubs nearby, drunk people shouting all night, sirens, and people with ridiculously loud cars that felt like they were outside the whole night. Also we requested a bath but didn’t get one and the standard double is too small for two people. Was convenient to walk everywhere but I guess any hotel would be as the city is very small

A very good hotel with good distance to everything. Fantastic breakfast with menu choices for the hot dishes. Nice staff and fresh rooms. The only thing that was less good was that it was cold in the room

The hotel is in a great location assuming you are wanting to stay in the city centre with lots of shops, pubs and eateries right on the door step. The room was small but quite adequate and clean and all the staff we encountered were very friendly. We didn’t have breakfast there choosing to eat out instead so cannot comment on that. We drove to Newcastle and most city centre hotels do not have parking, for Grey street there are a couple of options, we chose the Manors car park which depending on which route you take is between 5 and 10 minutes walk away. We went there as you can pay for a few days then come and go as you please. A good trip and we would stay at the hotel again.

Room was fine. Noise from bar over the road to the hotel until after 2am was ridiculous. Appreciate the hotel can’t influence this but maybe people should be pre-warned off the noise prior to booking. Old building and noise from creaking floors above from 6:30 in the morning was not appreciated. On a plus note, very good breakfast.

I had a fantastic stay at the Greys Hotel! The staff were friendly and helpful and my room was exceptional! I had a great comfortable sleep! Could not fault my stay and will definitely return as well as recommend to family and friends!

Great location, very good breakfast but very noisy.

We booked 3 rooms. All were lovely, warm and comfortable. Toiletries smell really great and everywhere was clean. Check in was quick and easy, we arrived at 2:15 and 2 of our rooms were ready so we were able to leave our bags and freshen up. The hotel is right in the city centre so lots of things to see and do. I have stayed before and would stay again.

Stayed in the Thonas Bewiick suite. Amacing comfortable bed suoer king size and lovely room. Brrakfast

Check-in was fine, staff were friendly and polite. Got iut of the lift on floor 2 to a smell of weed. Our room was the first room and i was worried the smell would be in there too but luckily it wasnt. Room was fine, bathroom toilet banged against the wall when you sat down, seemed loose. Informed staff at checkout of these issues and they are looking into it. Central location for newcastle city centre.
