Very clean property, helpful staff, great pool and sauna, great stay

It was a comfortable stay - air conditioning would have been a bonus but apart from this all good

Absolutely disgusting- arrived at the room - faeces in the toilet (obviously been there a while), went to reception and was told it’s back wash from other toilets, I’m a plumbing and heating engineer and this is not clearly the case. They gave me a new room, I asked if this one would be clean, was told “ it should be”, shouldn’t you check it first ? It’ll be fine - No customer service here, find somewhere else to stay - needs knocking down

Staff are very helpful and polite. Room was a good size, the bed was very comfortable and parking was excellent.

First of all i would like to say that the bedding was ruined on 2 singles.. Stained disgusting took photo.. Had someone to change the bedding .. None of us could sleep at night we were told then it was where the pipes were on & off all night .. Stayed here 3 times i don’t think i will be coming back .. Another hotel would have put us in another room .. The bedroom was really big .. It would be nice to have some sort of a discount ..

Hotel is very tired, badly in need of an update. Rooms have no air-conditioning, were not particularly clean and my room was missing a chair/couch - just a big space where it should have been! Bar area is OK as is the food but nothing to write home about.

Room wasn’t what was ordered, a shower was requested because of physical needs of getting in and out of the bath. Unfortunately, there’s no hand rail to help you get out. I mentioned this to a chap on reception, who just said all rooms are being upgraded, gradually. (Not exactly what I was expecting) I thought this was a health and safety issue? Room in general was dirty and dirty, which could be seen by just glancing around the room.

Nice sized room, did the job. No air con, but it wasn’t too much of an issue.

Don't be late for the breakfast you prepaid for. After 9:10 am ...otherwise there is a McDs just down the road.

Not the 1st time I've stayed in this hotel, and it never disappoints. Whether a standard room or a club one, they are always clean and comfortable. Staff are always friendly and efficient. The amenities are also fab (bar, restaurant, coffee bar, pool, sauna, etc). Across their free car park, there is lots of entertainment that u don't need to go central for (restaurants, bar, hollywood bowl, cinema). Plus 5mins walk there is an Asda shopping area incl shops and a pub. Taxi to the centre is 10 minutes and also not far from the motorway. We will be back again

super large room as a family. Couldn’t fault it! Only giving it one less star as for the shower wasn’t great (pressure), no herbal or decaf optjons availability in room and that we felt like it needed refurbishment eg. carpets

The room was clean and the bed comfortable. However, we really didn't like the Pub and Grill - small, crowded and very noisy - the football being shown on every vertical surface was embellished with loud and annoying music. We decided to eat in our room - which had its own contribution to add. The only way to order was via an app - which didn't work. As there are no phones in the rooms ( and no phone number provided to reach reception), I had to stand in the hallway to use one of the few phones around and order food whilst fellow guests walked past. It's a good thing I'm not self conscious! The food itself was ok, though being lactose intolerant seriously restricted my choices ( good thing I'm not a vegan!). Otherwise, the staff were very nice and I have no complaints on that front. Can't comment on the pool facilities as we didn't use them (despite paying for them) but that was entirely our fault.

Hotel staff were very helpful, the only comment I would make is the lifts were grubby and the hotel corridors were in need of decoration carpets worn and threadbare, the room was adequate and tidy and our stay was pleasant.

Overall a great stay, excellent breakfast. There were some plumbing issues in my room - it’s an older building.

I have stayed at this hotel a few times. The rooms are spacious and always very clean. I find the beds are very comfy. Always have a good night's sleep. Each time I have stayed here it has been very quiet at night, no noise from other residents which is nice. Staff are friendly and helpful. Good facilities to use. Nice restaurant and good food. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Came back to my room on the Wed evening, to find feces sitting in the toilet, and the room smelling. I flushed it down, reported to reception, who just said, Yes, we have a plumbing problem. No offer of changing rooms etc. Next morning, woke up to stinking room, and more feces in the toilet. Checked out a day early because of this, advised reception, who simply said, OK.
