My stay at The Radisson Blu Golden Sands was exceptional. I found the staff to be congenial, extremely helpful, the location is perfect. I wanted to move in😎

This was our 5th year returning to this resort! We keep coming back because we love the hotel, the location, its adult pool, private beach, amazing breakfast, hotel employees & staff, all wonderful! The hotel has a small deli/grocery store onsite, which is convenient. I think their coolers need to be replaced. We tried to purchase a veggie (cucumber to be exact) and it was rotten. Another visit, I gave some packaged cheese to the deli employee, due to it being spoiled. I noticed at the cash register, the deli employee, had several perishable items on the shelf that were probably no good. It would be nice if the hotel would replace those coolers, which in turn might allow bigger selection of items to sell. Overall, our stay was amazing as always and my family and I always feel welcome and why we continue to return!

Whilst the room was clean, there was an awful damp smell and every furnishing was covered in old stains/damage. The hotel itself is amazing and the pools/restaurants/staff/location were perfect for us, however for the price we expected something more maintained.

Lovely pool & views of the bay! Amazing Indian restaurant, highly recommend eating here. Staff were extremely helpful. Breakfast was lovely. The area is a little quiet, but easy to get taxis around. Rooms a bit dated, but as we spent so little time in our rooms it wasn’t an issue.

Staff are excellent. Property is old and dated. We had carpet in our room which was very dirty and dusty. We asked the room cleaners to vacuum it and they did but it was still dusty. Not much to do around hotel but buses are good and can get a taxi. Breakfast is boring. It’s the same everyday. Wish they would learn from the blu radissons in Asia and Africa about breakfasts.

Great experience with plenty to do in the hotel to relax & eat/drink without going too far. Lovely views of Golden Bay Sands beach plus some picturesque sunsets. Room was spacious & clean with the hotel staff being friendly & helpful

Peaceful and scenic location (15-20 mins from main towns by taxi), good beach that wasn't crowded in June, very family friendly. The room/suite was very well sized with a well equipped kitchen. The long balcony was very welcome, especially to enjoy the live evening musical performances. Breakfast buffet was excellent - gluten free offerings for coeliacs, as well as a separately prepared/cooked fry up on request (no sausages though!). Well stocked store on site along with two good restaurants. Staff were always friendly and helpful. I'd happily stay here again.

Our first time to Malta and we clearly made the right decision to stay on the West Coast for a peaceful rest, amazing beaches and outstanding customer service at the Radisson Blu. Shout out to all the restaurants for quality and delicious meals, we visited them all and the attentiveness was amazing. Pros: Private beach, clean pools, spacious public areas, bus stop to Valletta just outside, beautiful sunsets. Cons: No party vibe, just 1 restaurant in walking distance.

One of the best hotels I've stayed in. We stayed in a Sands Tower Suite with breakfast. The breakfast buffet was lovely. The other restaurants on site are gorgeous, the food was one of our highlights! Staff were so welcoming & friendly, nothing was too much trouble. We got engaged here, so will deffo be back & I can't wait!!

We really enjoyed our stay the interiors are dated but room was clean and spacious. Loved the location right on the beach very peaceful and clean. Watersport's were excellent and great prices. Breakfast was basic but staff were lovely and helpful. Spa was great had a lovely body balance massage with Jinsa.

Hermoso hotel, sus piscinas excepcionales . Tiene una piscina gigante , otra para adultos y una interior . Todas las instalaciones son de primera calidad . La habitacion espléndida . Ubicación súper si vienes con auto ya que está alejado de las principales atracciones turísticas . El desayuno muy bueno . Volvería sin duda a este hotel.

Fantastisk ophold! Fra øjeblikket vi steg ud af bilen, til vi blev hentet igen, blev vi mødt af meget hjælpsomme og sødt personale. Indtjekning skete med det samme, og vi følte os taget godt imod med frisk appelsinjuice og hjælp med vores bagage. Vores værelse var klar før tid, og vi havde en skøn udsigt. Værelset var fuldstændig rent og var virkelig skønt og stort! Dejlig seng og stort badeværelse. Poolområdet var meget rent og indbydende, og der var masser af liggestole. Morgenmaden var pragtfuld med stort udvalg - mange tak til Henri og morgenmadsteamet der var meget opmærksomme og venlige! Vi spiste aftensmad på den indiske restaurant og det var en skøn oplevelse med meget smagfuld mad, og igen fantastisk personale.

Overall a nice place. The bathrooms need urgent upgrading as there is mold & mildew. The common areas were fairly clean however the pool area remained littered with plastic that staff just walked by. Front desk could have offered more assistance with traveling off site.

We stayed at the Radisson Blu Resort & Spa, Golden Sands in Malta and had a fantastic time. The location is absolutely amazing. Golden Bay is a beautiful spot, and the hotel makes the most of it with great views, easy access to the beach and plenty of space around the pool areas. It is a big hotel, but it never felt too cramped or overcrowded, especially at breakfast, which was really well organised. The breakfast was excellent, with a brilliant buffet and plenty of choice. They also offer buffet lunch and dinner, and we ate at the buffet dinner one evening, which was fantastic. Some of the food the chefs were putting out was genuinely like a work of art, and the quality was much better than you would normally expect from a buffet. The staff were also brilliant. Everyone was friendly, helpful and couldn’t do enough for you, which made the stay feel really relaxed and easy. One of the best features is the lift down to the private beach, which is fantastic. There are also activities like jet skiing available right there, although the jet skis were a little pricey. That said, it is great having everything so easily available on site. Overall, it was a fantastic hotel for a family holiday. It is a great place to be by the beach, around the pools, and spending time with the kids. Brilliant location, great food, excellent staff and a really enjoyable stay. We would definitely recommend it.

We had an excellent holiday at the Radisson Blu, it is in an excellent location with excellent facilities. All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again.
