Hotel reception provides wrong information regarding the access to hotel , we travel by tourist bus and bus cannot access area as there is 3.5 metre bridge before we enter the hotel area and we need to use shuttle service from hotel approx 200-300 Metre away 2-3 times to transfer luggage and guests and also reception said they spent 2 hours with us as we have to pay 150 chf non receipt from local police and 150 chf from hotel for such a time spending with our group We stayed 6 rooms minimum spending 1600 Chf for 1 night- such a great hospitality service - never experienced and it costs a lot

Luxury! The suite was beautiful and comfortable. Our patio had a gorgeous view of the lake and city. I would have loved to stay longer. Aside from being fairly near the train station and the Italian restaurant across the way, there isn't much nearby. We did hike the trail behind the hotel to the top of the mountain, and that was lovely. The receptionist was very helpful in coordinating and explaining our transit options to Lake Como.

Old fashion but good.

Very nice hotel. The view from our room was incredible and the room was very large and nice. Essentially an apartment. The hotel has a couple of restaurants we did not make it to and a cool bar with a great view. There is a train station pretty close by, but you do need to go up and down a big hill to get to anything if walking.

Excellent hotel and the service was impeccable. Greatly appreciated the upgraded room - totally unexpected.

Delicious and abundant gourmet breakfast

Beautiful location on the hillside overlooking Lugano lake. Suite was lovely and had a pull down bed in living area, not a sofa bed as described, which was a bonus. Meals and drinks in the hotel were expensive but there are other options in the nearby town. Didn't want to leave!

Una vista espectacular

Lugano is a beautiful place and this hotel was in a gorgeous location perched on a hill. The staff were helpful with directions to and from sights. The room itself was nice and spacious and felt clean. It was not cheap but the again most things in Switzerland are not cheap. The only disappointment was the toilet seat in the bathroom was an improper fit- it was too small for the bowl and was not stable. The pool was nice but small- would’ve been nicer if it was outdoors in the glass sliding doors were kept open during the day as the weather was so beautiful. Our stay in Lugano was pleasant and we had a lovely time there.

Why would you close the pool already at 19.00. All normal hotels keep this open until atleast 21.00
