As expected.

Very fun place! I love it!

The Prospector Hotel and Casino is a funky little hotel with fun decor. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The one thing I will point out is there is no elevator so we had to lug our heavy suitcases up two flights of stairs, so if you have any mobility issues ask for a main floor room. They give you a coupon for a free cocktail or beer at the hotel bar when you check in which was nice. The restaurant had great food and good service. The casino only had slot machines and video poker but we aren’t gamblers so didn’t care about that. All in all we had a good stay and I would recommend the hotel especially for the price.

Had to stop here and stay a night unfortunately the person I was headed home with was being a dick head so I got out of the car and threw my water at him because I refused to be spoken too like I’m some kind of garbage bag of a person. So I found this lovely hotel in my stroll thru this lovely town.

Convenient location for my trip to California. Room was clean and comfortable.

So many special touches. A free drink (beer, wine, soda) and small gift from gift shop. Very cute. Excellent restaurant for dinner and breakfast. They make you feel special.

We’ve stayed here several nights & never been disappointed. Highly recommend.

I’ve stayed in Ely before but not at this property. I am very impressed. I was right by the pool and the entrance to the casino floor and I didn’t hear anything. No issues with noise. The pool is small but great and the hot tub was very welcome after 8 hrs of driving that day. The bed was very comfortable, room was clean and well appointed and spacious. The only downside is if you are on the 2nd floor there is no elevator to help with luggage. All staff was very nice and courteous. I will definitely stay here again.

Very dog friendly. Helpful, friendly staff. Wonderful, spacious room. Bed and pillows super comfortable. Bath & Body Works soap, shampoo & conditioner. Dog bed provided. Large grassy area to walk your dog. Margaritas restaurant delicious food. Will definitely stay here again!!!!

Smokey due to the casino at the main entrance, rooms clean, restaurant was good and appreciated the free welcome drink.

The rooms were very nice and clean the only problem is the lobby was filled with cigarette smoke from the casino and your clothes smelled like smoke from just walking through the hotel.

One lotto game paid well. One lotto machine was not repaired quickly. We liked free morning coffee. Would like to see a diverse variety of items in gift shop.

Would stay there again! Very nice hotel

Everything is good the only problem is the the noises from the other rooms are heard a lot
