Great location, everything in walking distance and if you don’t like walking. There’s bikes that you can rent across the street. Staff is super friendly

hotel easy to find, 2 minutes from the railway station, and 10 minutes to the beach and promenade. Great location. check in was efficient but time consuming, if you get the chance to check in online, do it room quite spacious, large bathroom with 2 sinks, nice shower and toiletries, plus a safe. There were only 6 coat hangers in the wardrobe so we asked for some more, as we were had a lot of luggage, they eventually arrived after a couple of reminders. staff all pleasant and helpful Breakfast room on -1, large room with a great selection of produce, especially fresh fruit, plus a good assortment of cheese, meats and bread products, plus some hot food, all told very good. the Spa to be honest is a bit of a faff, first you need to make a booking at reception for a specific time, then make sure you have your costume (obviously), swimming cap, flip flops, and towel. we used our room towels as there are no others provided. Next you have to report to reception 5 minutes before your allotted time where you are given a key to the pool area. The pool is located on floor -3, but there is no signage to point you there, we literally found it after discounting floors -1 and -2. Once inside the pool area there are 2 pools, a small oblong pool for swimming, and anirger with water jets for relaxation. The swimming pool I thought was rather cold, so we gave that a miss, but the jacuzzi pool was ok, although the edge of this pool is rough concrete, so you can't really relax.

The hotel is near at the center, easy to access. It is near to many cafeterias and restaurants

Centrally located near the beach and rail station . Nice breakfast and a temperature controlled swimming pool.

La ubicación muy buena y tranquila, sin estar en el centro , se llega andando enseguida. La habitación muy limpia y espaciosa. La cama muy grande y cómoda. Todo muy bien

Great parking directly under the hotel. Restaurant across the street was delicious but took advantage of what they sold us (different review). Not pretty, but clean. Front staff on arrival was concerning, apparently if you don’t speak Vasco (Basque), the female at the desk, gets rude. Overall it was a place to stay. I would not stay in Gijon again, very industrial and loud. No rest because of a lovely train station next door.

The front desk woman was short & rude to us. They charged us extra for a second person’s stay & a breakfast as the booking was confusing. “Double room” isn’t for 2 people if it also says single use. Manager spoke quickly in Spanish to the employee until I asked for translation. Then she told me I owed more money. Treated me like a villain! I didn’t mind paying my fair share but I tried to make it right before arrival by telling them it said 1, vs 2 people on the booking, to no avail! Also, where to park, although a spacious, clean, well-lit garage, was a big secret as far as lication when I tried to find out where to park right before arrival. There were plenty of empty spaces.

El desayuno muy caro

Nous avons fait étape dans cet hôtel où tout est parfait : accueil sympathique, chambre spacieuse avec une vue dégagée, propreté irréprochable, dîner sur place délicieux servi avec gentillesse, petit déjeuner fantastique. Même la voiture a été chouchoutée avec une place au garage, à l'abri. Nous n'avons pas utiliser le spa ou la piscine pourtant très attirants. Nous reviendrons !

Lovely hotel - large spacious room and bathroom, and very clean. We really appreciated the great secure parking (we have an SUV and the spaces were a decent size) at 13 euro a night which was good value.
