We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the AQUA Hotel Silhouette and Spa. While the surrounding area may not be the most aesthetic, once you step inside, you are transported into a high-end, tranquil environment that feels worlds apart from the street outside. We stayed in a room with a pool view, and although the décor felt slightly dated, the effort to maintain cleanliness was evident and impressive. Aside from some minor dust on surfaces and the remote, the room was excellent. The staff truly made our stay; they were consistently friendly and went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable. The pool area was excellent and well-maintained. We had no trouble finding sun loungers, though we visited outside of peak season. Regarding the spa, it was not quite to our taste as the area felt quite dark, the pool water was a bit too warm, and there was no way to adjust the sauna temperature. The food was a mixed bag. We enjoyed the croissants, yoghurt, and fruit. However, the hot buffet items, such as the steak, pasta, and breakfast items, were consistently served cold. One minor frustration was the inconsistent information regarding additional fees. We noticed discrepancies in parking rates and received several different quotes from different staff members for a late checkout. A standardised price list for these services would definitely improve the guest experience. Overall, it was a great, relaxing stay with wonderful service, and we would certainly return.

Estancia muy agradable. Destacan la calidad de la comida, el excelente servicio del personal, la limpieza del hotel, la animación musical nocturna y el spa. Como único punto negativo, no entendimos que las camas balinesas fueran de pago mientras las hamacas normales eran gratuitas. No queda claro qué criterio se sigue; quizá sería más lógico que todas fueran gratuitas o regular su uso por turnos, especialmente en temporada baja (Semana Santa, abril de 2026).

Frukosten bra, buffe, olika förslag till kaffe och juice, saknade kanske enkel fil till flingorna.. baconet är gjort i ugn i en bunt, inte alls knaprigt. Rumen är stora och fina och städas bra , bra övriga ytor sitta i,helt ok resturang. Ligger bra till precis bakom fronten till strandpromenaden men det ert mer som en fördel än nackdel.

Good hotel clean and accommodating. Friendly and helpful. A bit of a distance from Barcelona main city. So travel is slow. But local amenities are not great in area out of season. But hotel no complaints and service, food and amenities they offer are good price and value.

Personeel is onwijs vriendelijk en behulpzaam! Doet hen best om Nederlands te spreken om te helpen. Heerlijk ontbijt, veel keus. Dineropties zijn wat minder in keus, maar genoeg voor iedereen wat wils. Lunchen kan er ook zeker, gezellig bij het zwembad. Enige min-puntje is dat diner en ontbijt binnen is, ipv buiten. Verder alles echt fijn!! Parkeerterrein voor het hotel. Zwembaden en bedjes genoeg. Veeeel Nederlanders in het hotel en omgeving.

Beautiful hotel with good and clean rooms/beds/bathrooms. The walls are thin, so you'll hear (and be heard) everything. The pool is cleanish, yes its dirty every afternoon after many people been in it with sunblock. You'll have a sunbed peak season (jul/aug) if you arrive before 11am. Only few people reserve them early mornings with towels. Smoking is allowed and everyone does. That says enough about the kind of people that stay here. I think 80% was Dutch. Staff is friendly. Entertainment is super repeatative, same playlist and dance every day. Parking is impossible nearby, needed to park outside Malgrat and walk 10 minutes. Our car got damaged. The 2 lots in front of hotel are always full. So plan wisely. Food was just fine! Every day different food.

Really great resort. The beach is nearby if you don’t wanna chill in the pool. Plenty of food options. The breakfast buffet is grand.

This my very first trip to Spain and I stayed 7 nights. The breakfast was an amazing buffet style. Dinner as well and the other eating options they had on different days pool side. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. The room was beautiful, clean, comfortable and quiet. I can say with confidence that this will be the only hotel I would stay at during my visits to Spain!

Gebucht: 5 Nächte, zwei „ Penthouse“-Zimmer im obersten (7.) Stock, ca. 30 qm, als EZ mit HP. Gute, moderne Einrichtung, viel Platz, ordentl. Balkon mit Blick auf Malgrat und auf das Meer. Sehr grosse Hotelbar, innen mit Saal, aussen große Terrasse, eine Etage über den Pools, mit Blick auf die Pool-Landschaft, mit einem großen und div. kleineren Pools, ganz viele Palmen; wie ein botan. Garten. Alles gepflegt, jede Menge Liegen aller Art. Im blitzblanken Speisesaal ein tolles, sehr großes Buffet, aus vielen Buffet-Stationen und einer langen Cooking-Station. Mega Auswahl, alle möglichen Speisen, Desserts, frisches Obst, Früchten, Torten etc.. Gute Getränkeauswahl ( moderate Preise ). Guter, schneller, freundlicher Service, wie übrigens im ganzen Hotel, incl. Reception, Zimmer-Service etc.. Buffets täglich zum größten Teil abwechselnd mit anderen Speisen aller Art bestückt, Themenbuffets. - Das Essen war echt ein Volltreffer ! Frühstücksbuffets ebenso sehgr gut ! An der Pool-Landschaft zusätzlicher Imbiss / Rest., mit schönen Sitzmöglichkeiten und Ausblick auf das Hotel, die Pools und unzählige Pflanzen. Adults only lohnt sich ! Nicht nur im Speisesaal, sondern im ganzen Hotel viel ruhiger. Abends mehrmals wöchentlich Life-Unterhaltung, u.a. sehr gute Musikbands. Ein echt sehr schönes **** Hotel in Malgrat de Mar, das seine 4 Sterne wirklich verdient, und nur ein paar Minuten zu Fuß von Fußgängerzonen, dem Meer, Tourist-Infos, der Altstadt und dem Bahnhof entfernt ist.

Outstanding. We absolutely loved our week at this hotel, with the only minor criticism being the music (which became very annoying) played on the terrace near the bar. However, this is of course a subjective criticism and the staff would turn it down if asked. The hotel is spotlessly clean, very tastefully decorated and furnished. The 3 pools (one of which is heated) are crystal clear, and the outdoor area has been very well thought out and planted with care. It’s a place that you want to spend time in. In fact, so much so, that we hardly left the hotel for the whole week. We couldn’t fault the staff with everyone being extremely friendly, helpful and fun. It struck us that they seemed to exhibit a lot of pride in their work, and this came out in their focus on attention to details. We think that the management team have done a great job in training, and engendering this spirit in their people. We opted for half board, and both breakfast and evening meals offered a wide choice of dishes. Some really healthy eating options too. Great fresh food. The direct bus from Barcelona airport stops about 100m from the entrance making travel very simple. A big thank you to everyone there, and we will almost certainly go back again.
