Unfortunately bedroom was sweltering, room temperature 28 degrees. No air conditioning in the room. Used two fans but room remained very hot and made sleeping or resting in the room very difficult. Otherwise we had a lovely stay. Beautiful setting and staff very helpful.

Beautiful hotel with wonderful staff and lovely grounds. Spotlessly clean in all areas and lots of public spaces to relax and socialise. The rooms are large and comfortable even the bathrooms. Only slight negative was the food, both nights we had delicious dinners but breakfast and lunch could have been better. Would definitely recommend to others and will probably return ourselves.

The hotel and grounds on arrival are absolutely stunning, Unfortunately then it went downhill. You have to wear a swim cap to swim in the pool costing €4 ( that really disappointed me seems like such a shameless opportunity to make more money out of guests) I was really excited to use the pool sauna and jacuzzi, but I found it to be dated, felt crusty and there were 2 nice loungers and plastic white chairs, maybe 8 in total. I have no idea why a 4star hotel has plastic white chairs in their pool/sauna/jacuzzi area. My daughter enjoyed the gym and my son commented that he thought the gym looked really good. Our room which was beautiful, was unbearably warm. They left us a fan, in the end we asked for another (which they brought quickly) but after spending the night there we decided it was simply not good enough as it was the worst nights sleep we’ve had in a hotel, let alone a 4star. Ther room had no air conditioning at all, So they moved us to an air conditioned room. The room was lovely, but the awful nights sleep, the poor pool facilities, and shameless charging for swim caps means that we wouldn’t choose to go back. The staff were lovely. Actually great service. Isabella in the oak and anvil served us our meal, the food was quality - really tasty and we enjoyed the meal together.

Excellent pool and jacuzzi. Arrived to the hotel and duvet was dirty so had to get that changed. Mattress was very old and unfortunately they didn’t have any pillow top mattress covers. They did have a lighter cover on mattress. No fridge in room. No robes in room. Breakfast was lovely but everyone is on top of each other in the breakfast room. You had to look for someone to put in your order for breakfast. Nobody came to take order. Hotel used to be fabulous but unfortunately has gone down hugely.

Great hotel, lovely throughout. Restaurant and bars were nice with one of the best breakfast buffets included.

From check-in to check-out, the beauty of the property, the kindness ans helpfulness of staff, the variety and quality of breakfast items available and cleanliness of the property. We were blown away by it all. 2 adults 2 kids (11 and 13).

Staff were very helpful and friendly. The hotel was lovely, as were the grounds. All 5 star. The bedroom and bathroom were large and very clean, quiet and comfortable with excellent amenities. However on our visit the room was so warm (despite closed curtains) that it was quite unbearable. There was a helpful fan but it only moved the warm air around. No air conditioning in our particular room. Otherwise we had the most lovely time and have no hesitation recommending the Killashee.

We really enjoyed our stay. The spa facilities were amazing. Room was clean and comfortable. Food service in the garden was very disorganized - staff were unsure of where each meal was going, at €20 for a club sandwich this service certainly needs work. Also given dirty cutlery, we only needed the napkin thankfully. Dinner service in the restaurant was a lot better - food was excellent. Breakfast service again much better, selection was excellent and the option to have fresh to order Omelettes and Pancakes is excellent. Again though cutlery not the cleanest and we switched out our mugs with the table next to us also. I would definitely recommend the €25 fee for residents to use the hydrotherapy pool in the Spa it is absolutely fab - the pool in the leisure centre is too busy with swimming lessons etc. Overall we really enjoyed our stay, the grounds of the hotel are fabulous for a walk around and if you could get a good deal it is definitely worth visiting! :-)

Such fantastic staff , Recption staff were so accommodating. Great variety in restaurants and prices within. A restaurant for every budget. The lounge upstairs was perfect for lunch . The facilities are excellent, pool , hot tub and saunas and steam room. The grounds are lovely for an evening stroll after dinner . Yes I will be back again .

Words can’t describe the beauty and wonder, kindness and caring we experienced this week for our family reunion for 10 people who flew in from all over the world. Everything was perfect above expectations. Thank you so much! We will be back!💚🍀

An outstanding hotel - food is amazing, the staff are friendly and helpful, beds comfy. The gardens are beautiful and we were lucky to have the weather to enjoy them.

We only stayed for one night before our flight out of Dublin. It was a very beautiful hotel - the grounds were so pretty to walk around. Breakfast was included and was made to order. Overall highly recommend.

Great stay only negative pool busy with classes and lane swimmers not ideal for kids using facilities

Summer heat wave. Staff was very helpful finding a room on the shady side of the hotel. It’s a big hotel. Food was good. Nice breakfast.
