Did not like the no alcohol to the hotel rule, I resent being forced to buy alcohol at the hotel which I didn’t, no way in hell!!!!!

Convenient onsite parking, reliable AC and the cafe desserts were delicious. I liked the water filling station, which allowed you to refill your pitcher and bottles as often as you’d like. The water was also well chilled. The shower/tub combo would be my only criticism; the tub was very high and getting out of it would be a serious hazardous for anyone but especially those who may be less active or mobile.

The bed was super comfortable which was fantastic after a few days of hiking the beautiful sites near Sligo. The bathroom even had a clothes line to hang dry our clothes on. Dining in the restaurant was superb and the staff were very friendly and helpful. My only regret is that we never used the plush housecoats they had for us in the room. Those were a nice bonus!

Wish we would have had another night at the hotel as we had originally planned. Had to cut it to one night due to a very aggressive travel plan. Might have bumped rating up to 5 if we could have experienced more of the amenities but we stayed only one night and were on a really tight time schedule. Staff was great. Gave us all kinds of good information on restaurants and pubs, which we took advantage of. Room was large, clean and comfortable. The hotel is in a great location on the river, right across from the best areas for shopping, dining and pubs. Parking was very convenient, with an attached garage. They had a very nice restaurant and bar area with some good live entertainment the night we were there. Unfortunately we couldn't take full advantage of it since we really wanted to explore the town and we had such a small amount of time. I would highly recommend The Glasshouse as well as spending a little time exploring Sligo and the surrounding area.

Excellent, ideally located place to stay. Stay very friendly and helpful. Food was delicious both breakfast and dinner. Almost whole of our family/wedding party stayed here and all agree. Highly recommend it

My second time of staying here and recommended it to many friends/family to stay this time too. Great location, food was tasty and looking out onto the river was lovely as the weather was sunny. All very good!

Gorgeous hotel in central location for Sligo. Great view from the river balcony room! Staff were super friendly and parking was super convenient.

Beautiful hotel. Parking for six euros a night. Clean room. Located right the central part of the city. We would definitely recommend and would love to stay again.

Hotel was nice, staff was very accommodating. Sligo area was just on… a bit tired.

Parking was extremely convenient. Food on site was also terrific- had dinner there both nights.

Spacious and very quiet room. Staff were generally friendly. Good range of food for breakfast. Freshly cooked eggs are available although they can take a long time to arrive (about 29-25 minutes).

Sligo is a hidden gem for tourists. A trip to Strand Hill beach a must and an awesome meal at the Stoked Restaurant above the Strand Bar.

Absolutely gorgeous hotel in the heart of Sligo - with amazing river views. The staff was warm and welcoming- no surprise, this is Ireland after all! We will definitely be back!

Beds were hard. Room was clean. Nice bathtub.

The hotel couldn’t be more central, parking was easy.

The room was fine but the air conditioning was really noisy. Breakfast was average. Im gluten intolerant and although gluten free bread was available there were no other pastries etc.. I asked a member of staff if the sausages were gluten free and she didn't know so I ended up not having them. These are small things but they matter
