IWe liked everything about hotel but the restaurant in the evening 1.lighting very dark 2.Meals are without vegetables which were add ons /even though the meals were pricey enough without them We would like to see lighting addressed and meals to be complete and we thought a A price for one course or two courses or three complete with vegetables would have been a more generous and expectable form of enhancing our stay and likelihood of ourselves returning to otherwise a most lovely family hotel.

Better than expected. Beautiful building, fabulous room - in great condition, very comfy and clean. Tea and coffee making that included fresh milk in the fridge. Spa also brilliant as well as a great breakfast. Would stay again in a heartbeat. Didn't stay with kids, but would be perfect for families with all the extra ameneties.

I will start by saying that the hotel is absolutely beautiful, some of the nicest interior décor that I have seen in a hotel and the views are stunning. The room was one of the nicest I have stayed in. It was spotlessly clean and the bathroom/bath was very appreciated. The food in the restaurant was disappointing, I had the steak and honestly, I have cooked better myself at home. Breakfast was good, although some items missing due to a missed delivery, but what we did have was delicious. The spa was nice and great that it was free but I wouldn't go back for a spa day. The pool was lovely and warm, the jacuzzi wasn't hot - the outside sauna was amazing!! And the view from the spa was beautiful. Bear in mind that it is a family hotel, so lots of loud playing children, which is lovely for families, not so good if you're a couple. The staff were very good and extremely helpful, when you saw them. Afternoon tea was delicious, I'm really surprised to have read negative reviews about that before my stay because it was lovely. I would go back, but not for dinner and not just for the spa. If you have small children, it is a perfect base for a Cornish holiday.

Lovely hotel, with friendly and relaxed staff. Room was great, clean and comfortable. Spa was very relaxing, we did make the most of the adult only pool time!

Great family friendly setup. The pool has been nicely refurbished, perfect temperature and good jacuzzi/steam room. Breakfast options were delicious and both adults and children enjoyed the menu options. Room was spacious and the ‘zed’ beds were fine for children. Our dog had a nice bed and treat pack upon arrival. Looking ahead to when to book again!

A wonderful place if the weather is poor. Lots of rooms to explore. There is a good library for children, however virtually nothing for adults. There could be a small quiet room for reading adults only?

Fantastic stay, our second stay at Fowey Hall and would stay a third time! A shame that our visit this time coincided with some renovation work however the staff were very helpful in minimising the impact of this on us.

Insgesamt ein schöner Aufenthalt - schönes Zimmer (leider ohne Sitzmöglichkeit auf Balkon), sauber und nettes Personal. Preis trotzdem etwas teuer, für das Geld haben wir schon in anspruchsvolleren Hotels geschlafen. Insgesamt aber sehr empfehlenswert - Fowey ist ein toller Ort und eine gute Base für tolle Ausflüge.

Amazing place for family with younger children. Our children - 8,6& 2 loved their stay here. We swam every day, attempted crabbing, played in the playground and attended all of the activities put on by the den staff. Kids loved mocktail & jewellery making and they put on a great Easter egg hunt for the kids too. They also attended the den sessions and were happy each time. The rabbit feeding was also really lovely. Only complaint really is the restaurant. Breakfast is good but dinner/lunch has the same menu and if you’re staying for 3 nights it’s quite limited and honestly not the best. The fish and chips were good but the gnocchi and salads were very blah. We went out for dinner one evening as we couldn’t face the same average food. Maybe change up the menu every other night to encourage ppl to eat there more as everything is in the hotel and the kids just love running around. Also, have some outsiders try the food and give honest opinions… for a luxury hotel you’d expect better food. Other than that, it’s perfect and we would come back in a heartbeat, just probably would avoid eating dinner there unless it changes.

Highly recommended! This hotel is well suited to parents with children of all ages! Our two year old enjoyed playing with all of the toys in the Four Bears Den as well as the games room. The 5pm story time with cookies and milk and the cinema room was always a nice way to end the day. The hotel also has a great indoor pool though it is slightly on the cold side compared to a normal kid's pool, but I don't think it is worth being overly concerned about this. The staff and service is excellent! We made use of the warm milk delivery to our room each night and every member of staff was warm and welcoming and I want to give a special shout-out to Diane who took care of us during breakfast. My family and I would happily stay at Fowey Hall hotel again!
