The staff were extremely helpful, the rooms spotless and the breakfast tasty.

The hotel needs updating. Decor and furniture are outdated. There was no hot water in the shower. No USB ports but adapter was provided after requesting one. Curtains are sheer so the sunlight streams through which made sleeping challenging.

I'm traveling to Italian 6 cities in three weeks and the Melià has been an absolute highlight. The staff is friendly, helpful and attentive. The room was perfect and we had a lovely balcony overlooking Genoa. It was conveniently located, so we could walk to the Piazza (and opera house!), Antico Port, shopping areas and we were 2 minutes from the church where Christopher Columbus was baptized. HIGHLY RECOMMEND that property for your stay in Genoa, one of Italy's underrated gems.

Roma are very clean, staff are excellent, parking is convenient, breakfast is very poor for 5 even 3 stars hotel,

Heilt yfir er hótelið mjög gott. En nokkur atriði mætti bæta: Lobbýið er óþarflega lítið og hljóðeinangrun er lítil, mikill kliður og hávaði myndast í þessu litla rými. Á veitingastaðnum var tónlist spiluð í hátalarakerfi, bæði í kvöldmat og í morgunmat, en vandamálið er að tónlistin er spiluð á óþarflega háum styrk. Það eru ekki allir sem hafa þóf fyrir tónlist með morgunmatnum. Ef spila á tónlist þá er best að hafa hana meira í bakgrunni. Annars var morgunmaturinn mjög góður.

Best hotel I've ever stayed in. Immaculate comfortable room. Warm, friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was amazing. I hope to return soon. We loved the art at the palaces in the old city.

We stayed at the Melia several times on business. This time was vacation and the we had contacted the hotel for restaurant recommendation before our stay. Received a very prompt and friendly reply. We went to one of the recommended restaurants and it was excellent. The front desk staff were very helpful and friendly and also gave us a great restaurant recommendation.
