Excellent visit!

The spa experience was very disappointing. The massage was poor and did not feel professional at all. There was also no water provided to drink and no shower available after the massage, which is below the standard I expected from a spa experience.

Most friendly staff, excellent customer service!! Wonderful towels in the rooms, so soft I loved them!!

They need major repairs.. and the current construction was not advised to us until 3 days prior to arriving and at that point u can't cancel it very shady....

Room was clean, however we booked the cove and multiple maintenances were being done on the property. Spa was not available, the original adult pool was not available, loud drilling noises on the building balcony was being done early in the morning.

The images of The Cove make it look like a modern hotel, but don't be fooled, that's simply the reception area. The actual Cove accommodation is very similar to other parts of the hotel and in my opinion, isn't much of an upgrade and certainly not worth the price difference. Rooms are relatively old fashioned and could really do with an upgrade. Most disappointing was the balcony furniture which is super cheap, low quality and definitely not something you would want to sit on for anything other than putting on your shoes. And the prices for food booze: Save up! You'll need to.

Beautiful property, very clean and well maintained. Only issue was some shortage of beach chairs, and the umbrella system was broken on many of the chairs.

We have always loved staying at the Cove and have been coming here since it first opened. First, the Cove pool is closed (relocated to a previously vacant pool area) until December. We were not informed of this prior to booking.At check-in at the hotel we were still not informed about the pool closure, nor that work was being done on the Cove rooms Monday through Saturday 8am-6pm. They also did not inform us that both poolside restaurants at the Reef and the Cove were also closed. Not only did we have to find this all out on our own, once we did find out and contacted the front desk staff, they offered no compensation in room upgrade, decreased pricing, or any type of “perk” to correct the situation for disgruntled frequently returning guests. Additionally, once at the “relocated pool” location, the nearest woman’s restroom was a 10 minute walk away to the children’s pool. These restrooms were always out of toilet paper, showed no sign of maintenance, and many of the stall doors didn’t even lock. For those traveling with young children, the absence of door locks on bathroom stalls would alarm me. The Cove remodeling could have gone much better if it had been better-planned, and guests were alerted with some good PR prior to the remodel. Upgrades, discounts, and offering perks (free water and soda to start would have been nice), and a lot better customer service, would have gone a long way!!

Overall a good experience. Some quirks in service. Mixups and delays. But overall, extremely friendly staff. Outstanding food options. Build more time for activities.
