I wasn't able to stay at the Hampton Inn, even though my room was paid for days in advance and confirmed earlier that day. The hotel had some type of "water damage" and miraculously my room was the only one affected and it just so happened I was the last guest to check in for the night and the hotel was sold out. And this was after calling ahead and confirming my room and informing them that we would be super late getting there. At arrival, all I was given was a :sorry for your bad luck" by the poor 3rd shift person who had to deal with me. Wasn't her fault that Management or other employees left her holding the bag. The extra peculiar part, later that night I went to the hotel website after I had to find different accommodations. It wasn't showing "sold out". This little town has few options at 12 am. I read other Google reviews complaining about overbooking the hotel.

The only complaint I have is that I had to go to Walmart and purchase a $10 pillow. The hotel could use some new pillows. Sleep is the most important element in a hotel. Without a good pillow, it is hard to sleep.

The lobby smelled of food as soon as you walked in. There is no complimentary water in the room.It was an outdated room and the bedding had been bleached to remove stains. The carpet was dirty and the room smelled. It was horrible in the shower, and I have pictures to prove it. I almost slipped off the toilet seat because it is loose. I paid 175.00 plus taxes for this room and got motel six room. I visit Altus, Oklahoma because I have grandkids there. Last time I stayed there, wires were hanging in entrance because roof collapsed. Room was the same and lobby stinks of foreign food. Very disappointing to think this is a Hilton.

AC in the entire building didn’t seem to work, the lobby was hot and sticky, third floor was awful. AC in our room didn’t seem to work or keep the room cool. Bathtub had mold growing around the edge, overall would not stay here again and if I could go back and pick somewhere else in town I 110% would

First night got in really late at night and the night shift front desk guy checked me in. Went to room. It was not the King Suite I'd reserved but was so exhausted it was a dull realization until morning. Went back to front desk and a different man was there. Asked him to confirm my reservation. He admited should be a suite, apologized and gave me new room key. Had to move all my things. Both rooms were in disrepair. Wallpaper peeling, poop splatter on walls in bathroom, dust and crust on baseboards and door hinges, splatters on doors and nasty long black hairs in showers. Also, had a huge black bettle drop on my face that must have been climbing on the wall above my bed headboard at 3:30 a.m. Was a startling and disgusting way to be awaken. Also, stains of questionable nature on top of the bed comforter. Was in rush to get to airport, so didn't have time to wait around to tell all this to hotel manager.

We have stayed in this hotel for many years for occasional visits to Altus. The property is becoming run down now. During our stay, the toilet broke and flooded water on the bathroom floor. Maintenance was not available so I fixed it myself (the hotel did offer to provide another room). The refrigerator was broken and so we had to throw most of our food away. The room door did not close properly and had to be slammed each time. We did not request compensation and it was not offered. It is time for the hotel to invest in maintenance to restore it to its former glory.

I was excited after driving a 10 hour trip unpond arrive to the room I had booked wasn't ready and then unavailable due to over booking, was offered a double Queen in replacement of what I ordered a King suit divided revived for handy cap and got a single king non decided suit without the privacy. Said there was a spa on site but was out of order and no vending machine or ice on the 1st floor

I arrived waited 30 minutes for the front desk person to wake up. They got extremely rude and condescending to me and asked me if I knew what side my left was since I used the wrong phone to call them… I used the closest phone to the sign that was on my left. They became more rude. I ended up leaving and not checking in or staying even though I paid for two days. DO NOT STAY HERE.
