Executive room, yet no wifi available....

The bed kept moving from the headboard couldn’t lye with head on the headboard because we had to keep getting up to move the bed back , other people staying there were too loud keeping us up

Room was clean, staff were very courteous and helpful and breakfast was good. Overall this was let down by a lack of tlc to the surroundings.

Clean room

Room was extremely cold with limited heat owing to a timings. guests in the dining room extremely loud and not asked to respect other quests staff absolutely great as always

Room was cold on arrival- heater was not working. I had to change the settings on the heater to get it to work. Dinner was poor. I had the feather blade of beef (which I have at every Maldron) The vegetables were lukewarm - it was a far cry from any other feather blade from other Maldron hotels. I did let the server know. It’s not a hotel I would enjoy staying at again. I’m a fan of Maldron, and regularly stay at Maldron Cork and Belfast.

My room was not available until 5pm, despite being told three times a room was ready then given to someone else. The room wasn't clean when we arrived, the bathroom was not clean at all. Very poor service. We travel to the area several times per year and I will not be keen to stay again

An extra almost €40 was sneakily tried to be added to my bill. At first I was told I had no outstanding balance but when I said I did and he double checked someone had charged drinks to my room, probably the same person who woke me up twice in the night trying to enter my room.
