Lovely hotel, quiet location, large gardens. Friendly helpful staff. The swimming pool/ sauna/ steam room were in good condition. We didn't try the hotel restaurant for dinner, instead opted for a nearby pub in Wotton. Breakfast buffet was quite extensive with English breakfast and cereal/ yoghurt etc. options. Only downside with breakfast for us was the limited choice of fruit - actually there wasn't any with the exception of some dried fruit pieces. Would come again though despite the fruit shortage!

We have stayed at Wotton House a few times and have stayed singly, as a couple, with and without dogs and have even taken our bikes down. The facilities and staff are superb and we have come to treat the hotel as a home from home! The room has had all we could want. It’s comfortable and well equipped and they’ve provided beds for the dogs when they have been with us. The facilities are excellent and we’ve used the gym, pool and walked extensively in and around the grounds. The local area is really nice and we have explored extensively. The walk through the woods to the Mill pond is delightful. We have also cycled in the area, taking in Leith and Box Hill as well as visiting local villages But it is the staff where the hotel has excelled. Everyone has been friendly and helpful, from the maintenance, F & B and Front of House. They have made an unpleasant situation a pleasure! They have been attentive and friendly and really gone the extra mile. Annalisa, Jessica and Guido on reception have been superb, helping our changing itinerary. Kristina from Guest relations has been really supportive. Sarah in F&B was superb in helping our Mum and Jose rhe waiter has been fantastic. It was lovely to meet Edward, the GM and his wife Georgie who made us feel very welcome and supported. Thank you all and sorry to all I have missed out! We have enjoyed our stays, and will be back

Friendly professional staff & a beautiful hotel.

It was so peaceful and serene. After a few busy days in London, staying at Wotten was a dream. It has lovely walking trails in the estate, and is close by vineyards and only a 15 minute drive from Surrey landscape trails. The staff was so kind, the cocktails and food were delicious. Not a single negative moment, I genuinely can’t recommend it enough.

Wedding parties definitely take priority at this venue which is a shame for people who have booked for a relaxing stay. It would be beneficial for wedding party guests to have a separate bar. The food is average for the price. The pub down the road is far better value for money. The room was looking a little tired but was clean. We had a nice stay but wouldn’t rush to go back/ recommend.

Good stay, nice building and gardens and breakfast room attractive but busy. Bed a little soft, shower in wet room doesn’t drain. Door chain lock broken. Wouldve liked a small fridge. Not sure why we were given a disabled room

Absolutely gorgeous hotel and grounds. The staff go above and beyond and really do pay attention to detail (kids colouring tables, board games and wellies to hire, as well as a box of sticks for dogs!). I was dubious about taking my 6 year old twins as I wasn’t sure if the hotel was kid-friendly, but the staff made them feel so welcome and they even got free ice creams! The room was lovely. Clean, comfortable and light. We were lucky enough to have sunny weather, so sitting out on the terrace with a drink and the view of the grounds was pretty much perfection! Breakfast was also great (also some of the cooked food could have been hotter). Only downside was that the spa needs updating (steam room and changing rooms mainly) as there are signs of rust and paint deterioration. Despite this, all in all a fantastic family stay and we shall return!

Beautiful building, wonderful location and grounds. Fabulous decor and we had a lovely stay. Just a shame our bedroom window was broken and the shower pressure could have been more powerful. The £50.00 holding deposit which wasn't mentioned in the details was surprise and did detract slightly from the stay.

This is a lovely hotel in a fabulous setting, ideal for weddings and celebrations of all kinds. Staff are very considerate, helpful, and most of all cheerful. Would thoroughly recommend.

Lovely hotel, beautiful grounds. Restaurant is expensive. We visited with two children and they had a wonderful time. Breakfast was really nice and a varied selection. Staff helpful and friendly. Highly recommended

Bar and the dinner restaurant staff doesn’t interest with us at all. We asked another plate for kids and ketchup and mayo they didn’t bring any plate and when they bring ketchup we already finished our chips. Kids was asking ketchup and mayo we even didn’t see the guy who served us our burger

Beautiful location, great accommodation, beds were comfortable, rooms were clean. Food was amazing. Although we didn’t get to eat in the main restaurant, you need to book.

Beautiful location and hotel. Staff were really helpful and friendly. Rooms were very clean, plenty of space, comfy beds. Excellent evening meal and breakfast with lots of choice. One suggestion - could perhaps be more vegetarian/vegan options such as meat-free sausages and bacon at breakfast. But otherwise a really lovely stay and we look forward to visiting again.
