Great Hotel. Excellent.

Where do I even begin. I booked this hotel for a quick getaway for my sons birthday. Once I arrived, I was greeted upon entry like " just to let you know, our elevator is broke and we have no rooms on the 1st or 2nd floor, if that's going to be a problem I can cancel your reservation right now" I said.. oh, ok. Well hello, how are you? I told him that I didn't have a issue with stairs and really no time to search for another hotel being that we wouldn't be in town long.(oh, then he said they couldn't find my booking in the system in which I paid in advance before arriving) On hotels.com (which I use often) did not indicate that there was a $100 incidental fee, only the $25 for pets. I attempted go show the employee it stated no fee.. . He became combative again. I drove 6hr, no one is trying to argue. Anywho, I'm not sure if it was because I'm African American to why he was so fiery. But I'd never stay there again. Urine in the stairs, mold on the ceiling of the room. I didn't see anyone else in the area that looked like ME, never again!

Was a good location to go to downtown Tampa at a price much better than staying Downton. And parking is free and breakfast included.

The carpet in the room was very sticky and dirty, tv did not work and the shower barely dripped any water. Location is very noisy. We were happy to find a pet friendly hotel as we need to come to Tampa with our fog frequently but will not stay here again. On the positive side, the front desk staff was very nice.

I would stay again

I was able to have my dog with me at the hotel and the charge was reasonable. Staff was nice.

First thing the property was clean and smelled good, the room was nice everything was clean they had a real breakfast not just coffee and pasty and called it breakfast like most hotels they use dove products which I loved overall I will stay again, the staff was also helpful

This was a good location for our trip. Have stayed here before and was happy with this stay too.

Had a wonderful stay at La Quinta! Will definitely stay again in the future when I come back to visit!
