Bar has plenty of drinks available. Room was clean. Bar staff was pleasant and helpful. Unfortunately we had to leave by 8 o’clock and breakfast on a Sunday starts 9 o’clock

Clean room with everything we needed for one night, good location, staff were helpful, dinner options in pub were good and breakfast was freshly cooked and lovely.

I was greeted by staff in the pub in the evening with a warm friendly welcome. The rooms are in a separate annex so no noise can be heard from the pub. You are given a door code on arrival. The room was clean as was the bedding and towels. Quite a spacious double room with desk chair and armchair. The bathroom was clean The shower pressure wasn’t particularly strong but it was ample. Shampoo and shower gel were provided Breakfast was available from early until 9 a.m and you are given a menu choice to select in advance by the booking in staff Basic cooked ingredients like sausages eggs beans and bacon could fe selected The chef at breakfast was friendly and accommodating. I requested eggs which was available within 5 minutes. Toast is available to make yourself together with spreads. There was also a choice of cereal and fresh fruit. Coffees and teas are available from a good quality machine and fruit juice is also available This was a perfect stay for me as my daughter was in the nearby hospital and this was easy to get to with no problem parking. I would stay again if I was in the sane situation and needed a bed for the night

A good budget stay very near Chichester. Bedrooms and bathrooms very clean, cooked breakfast delicious. The pub had a wonderful social feeling in the evenings with sea shantys being sung on the first night and a quiz the second. We recieved a warm welcome.

The staff were incredibly helpful and welcoming. The property was quiet, safe, and clean. Breakfast was hot, fresh, and delicious. All in all, a great spot for those who need a quiet spot near Chichester.

The Woolpack Inn excelled in a lot of areas,especially with respect to parking nearby, with good food throughout and a comfortable and quiet room/suite with good furnishings, TV, kettle, bathroom-shower facilities. The staff were very helpful and the guest breakfast area very nice and friendly. If travelling again to a nearby area I would stay again if the prices remain competitive and standards maintained. The only "fly in the ointment " was the frequent "door slamming" of fellow guests in the early morning--but that is not the fault of the managers. Thanks.

As we arrived at the Woolpack, we saw they have ample parking. The room was basic, but very clean, the bed very noisy but extremely comfy. Superb selection of towels, with soap shampoo and body lotion provided. The shower is small but superb. The staff were amazing, friendly, helpful and would do anything to help. The food was excellent. A very very good selection and arrived piping hot and delicious! The gravy was unbelievable andI wish I could but some to take home, it was so good. There is a fridge provided for guests use ans an iced water machine. The WiFi was also very good with no problems. Fresh flowers everywhere and in the lovely beer garden was a children’s play area the looked excellent. Very close to Chichester centre, so a good location. For a reasonable price, it was excellent.

So many good things about The Woolpack... comfy bed, lovely towels, fresh flowers, good breakfast, helpful staff etc. BUT, and it's a big but... the walls of Room 6 were like tissue paper - we might as well have been sharing a room with the people next door! This is why we won't be staying here again.

Room had all our needs and was well equipped , clean and smelt fresh at all times , staff very friendly and welcoming. Car parking was excellent no problems at all. Breakfast was very good plenty to eat and drink and efficient service, We had one thing that would have made our stay perfect if the mattress had not been sprung it made the bed feel very lumpy in places and sleep was hit and miss , we will be booking again next time we ho to Chichester as we found it very easy to get around , a big thankyou to the staff who made our stay more enjoyable.

Very uncomfortable bed.....hot water way too hot ,no cold water coming through in shower so couldnt use it as hot was dangerous

V noisy music event on that evening, room v clean but tired, bedside lights not working & beds a bit on soft side, breakfast was excellent.

Really enjoyed our sray at the Woolpack, very clean and the sraff were all very friendly, would definitely stay again.

I found the staff and all people who worked there all very kind and friendly, and the evening meal and breakfast were cooked when ordered, producing lovely hot and fresh food.

The hotel position is very good with walks down to the creek and mill pond very close. The garden was good and the service was good with extremely friendly staff. Unfortunately the bedroom room was disappointing. There were cobwebs and spiders in the corners of the room and ceiling. The bath around the taps are mouldy and some of the pipes where they met the wall are rusty. Its a shame a little more attention to detail would make all the difference.
