Clean room, very friendly reception desk.

Staff were great, rooms were spotlessvar was okay. Check in staff and housekeeping were wonderful

Parking bays were very narrow but manageable. Evening meal was average. Room was good and the bed very comfortable

This property was in need of updating. The rings had detached from the curtains, making them difficult to close. The tv was outdated. The frying pan had a very loose handle. The shower lacked power and the hot water only seemed to come on at around 8am, no good if you like to shower earlier. The bed was very comfortable, pillows were very cheap and bumpy.

Fantastic 1 night stay. Pleasantly surprised at the size of the 2 bed lodge. Great value for money. Swimming included, just need to prebook a time slot at reception when checking in or with the manager of the swimming pool when you're there.

Pleasantly surprised considering what I paid for studio apartment. Well equipped, spotless, spacious had everyrhing we needed. Didn't use restaurant but was available, games room with pool, table tennis and other things to amuse kids plus small amusement arcade. Bar nice for quiet drink which closed at ten. Staff very friendly and helpful and surrounding beautiful with lake. Supermarkets 5 mins away by car, station museum worth a wee visit in carnforth. Will visit again

Great views from the lodge and clean rooms with lots of amenities. Windermere Lake was a 25 minute drive which was really convenient and Lancaster was a 15 minute drive. Although it was a short stay, we really loved our time here!

The location right by the lake offers a truly wonderful environment.

Lovely warm rooms, on a particularly cold weekend, spotlessly clean and including very useful kitchen, sofa, table and chairs. My only area for improvement would be better communicating that these rooms are essentially self-catering. A small amount of tea, coffee and milk is provided as a welcome when you arrive, but you really need to bring your own if you are staying for more than one night. We came in unequipped for self-catering, but there was a small shop for essentials and a bar/restaurant for lunch and dinner on-site. Staff were also extremely helpful in directing us to a nearby truckers’ café that did really good breakfasts. I would definitely stay here again.
