Terrible experience overall. As a solo female traveler, I felt like a second-class guest. The staff were generally disrespectful, impatient, and unhelpful. Very few employees spoke English, and communication was extremely difficult throughout my stay. The worst experience happened at a restaurant where I planned to have dinner. Due to a misunderstanding with my order, a staff member apparently entered it incorrectly. An older man from the kitchen then came out carrying a huge fish and loudly insisted that I had ordered it and needed to finish it. The fish was the size of my arm. I repeatedly explained that I was dining alone and had not ordered such a large meal, but he kept arguing. The entire restaurant was staring at me, and it was one of the most embarrassing moments I have experienced while traveling. When I refused to accept the fish, they brought me an uncooked fish fillet instead, which I did not eat. I left the restaurant feeling belittled, embarrassed, and hungry, yet I was still expected to pay the bill. The experience upset me so much that I skipped breakfast the next morning and left a day early. Beyond the restaurant incident, the staff throughout the property were rude, impatient, and unwilling to explain things. Accessing the hotel was also difficult, requiring a strenuous 30-minute walk over steep hills. In addition, the room was not properly cleaned, and the bathroom had an unpleasant odor. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone.

La limpieza del hotel es excelente, el personal sumamente amable, el acceso a la playa y la vista es espectacular. El acceso es un poco difícil, no es tan cerca del centro de Sorrento, pero vale completamente la pena.

Overall, we had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The property was clean, well-maintained, and the staff was friendly. The room itself was comfortable, although the beds were a bit firmer than my personal preference. One downside was the view from our room, which looked directly into another room that was very close by, limiting privacy and scenery. Additionally, there was a vent located near our room that emitted an unpleasant odor- thankfully we didn’t smell it in the room- but it detracted from the overall experience. Despite these issues, the hotel was nice overall, and we enjoyed our stay.

This hotel is a hidden gem. We were a little concerned when we got to the parking lot and found that we needed to be transported by golf cart to the hotel. It was a steep ride but so much fun. The cove where the hotel is offers spectacular views with plenty of restaurants and beach. Our hotel room was waterfront and just a dream view from our huge balcony. Getting into town was a short golf cart ride to the bus stop and quick ride to the Main Street in Sorrento for shopping, restaurants and ferry. Highly recommend.

The beach was beautiful and I am so glad we paid a bit more for the balcony room. The view was gorgeous. The hotel is farther from Sorrento than I thought (my bad) and there are about 4 restaurants to choose from unless you go into town. The restaurant associated with the hotel that provides breakfast is very good and there is a delicious paid dinner option.

Muy buena atencion del personal del hotel. Solo que la habitacion que da hacia el restaurante no se puede dormir, hay mucho ruido, le suben a la musica a las 11:00 de la noche.

Baia, c’est un hôtel qui ne ressemble pas à ceux que j’ai l’habitude de fréquenter et tant mieux ! Quelques informations : - Ce sont des maisons de pêcheurs qui ont été transformées en hôtels : c’est un petit labyrinthe mais on s’y fait vite. - Literie un peu ferme. - C’est le seul hôtel de la zone : les autres personnes du secteur sont des habitants ou des clients pour les restaurants. - Il n’y a pas de route : oui oui, il n’y a pas de route donc vous ne pouvez pas venir en voiture; l’hôtel propose un service de navette (Fiat Panda) à joindre via WhatsApp si vous avez loué une voiture. Le parking est 400 mètres plus haut (et vraiment haut), il est inclus dans le prix de l’hôtel et géré par deux personnes, donc surveillé. Ça fonctionne bien et je ne vous en dis pas plus, vous aurez la surprise sur place. - Je vous conseille de manger au restaurant le soir, c’est super bon. - Prenez de l'anti-moustique - Le petit déjeuner n’est par contre pas terrible : pas de produits locaux et une serveuse débordée malgré toute sa bonne volonté. - Si vous avez de la chance, à la réception il y a une jeune femme très sympa qui parle toutes les langues du secteur et vous donnera plein de bons conseils pour profiter de votre séjour. - Atout majeur : l’hôtel a les pieds dans l’eau, comme sur les photos. C’est génial ! Une chambre = 2 transats inclus dans le prix (mai). - Si vous vous déplacer pour visiter Naples, Pompei...doublez votre temps de trajet / votre GPS !! Promis, je n'éxagère pas !

This property was such a great choice for our stay. It was clean safe fun and not to mention beautiful. Staff was amazing. Antonio the golf cart driver was so skilled and got us to our taxi right on time, it was a blast. Can’t wait to come back!

The beach view was gorgeous and having a private beach was awesome. It was easy to get in and out of Sorrento main hub and being right by the water at an affordable price can’t be beat.

Hotel was great. Beautiful surroundings. Hotel staff very helpful getting us to where we need to go. So glad we found this place.

We had a difficult time communicating with Hotel Baia through Expedia, as the phone number provided was not actually for the hotel. The hotel is also located in an area that isn’t easily accessible and requires pickup by the hotel driver. Unfortunately, we were unable to reach the hotel despite trying both the Expedia number and the number listed on Google, as their phone lines appeared to be down. As a result, we had to pay for a taxi to take us part of the way, which was stressful and inconvenient. The rooms themselves were fairly clean, although quite small. The hotel does have a beautiful exterior view and convenient beach access, which were definite positives. However, our room did not have much of a view. The staff were generally friendly, but the transportation situation—particularly relying on the hotel shuttle between the bus stop and hotel—created unnecessary stress and made our stay less convenient overall.

The location was great, people were welcoming and helpful, all amenities were excellent.

First of all the staff were always polite and extremely helpful. The front desk people booked an excursion to Amalfi and Positano by boat at our request with pick up at our marina. Asking them for help with any excursions is a smart move. The breakfast was nicer than anticipated and the serving staff cheerful. Housekeeping staff cleaned our outdoor floor and furniture (bird droppings) everyday. Our view was spectacular and we listened to the surf day and night. This made our stay very enjoyable. The hotel is right off the water and the main road is several hundred meters above. The free shuttle to and from the hotel was a nice touch. They also pick you up and drive you to the metro bus stop from the hotel entrance.

Excelente custo benefício. Os viajantes, contudo, devem se atentar à localização, pois o deslocamento para o centro de Sorrento demora um pouco. O local é calmo, de paisagens bonitas, mas afastado do centro da cidade. É uma das poucas propriedades que possui estacionamento para hóspedes. Contudo, ele fica um pouco distante do hotel. No geral, é uma excelente acomodação.
