Good hotel for the price. The included breakfast had a limited selection. The hot tub in the pool area was more like a warm tub, the jets barely worked and the water was dirty, you could see hair of all varieties floating in it. The vending machines were not stocked, and there was only 1 ice machine in the entire hotel. When my room was serviced, the bathtub was not cleaned. The staff was wonderful though, polite, apologetic and attentive.

Staff did try to help. Other people staying there we're drinking in the halls and also very loud above our room. We checked out early. Staff did apologize and did try and help.

Breakfast is Continental. Which is adequate. Parking spaces are easy access.

Decent for a good start to the day

I am not sure what to say. March break here in Ontario and I like to take my grandchildren for an overnight at a hotel and a swim, just some downtime with them. So disappointed. The pool was so cold. We were only in it for about 10 minutes and then the two of them had to go in the shower for 15 to warm up. When I complained at the desk, they told me that the heater was broken. Don’t believe it for a second. Everything was cold. The heat coming out of the radiators cold, the stone surrounding the pool, freezing cold. They didn’t have the heat on because they weren’t busy. Didn’t take much to figure that one out. They put the heat on for the pool Thursday night and it was a little better Friday morning, but that’s because they were fully booked because of a hockey tournament. Cannot recommend and would never stay again. The breakfast is a joke. As a retired travel agent of 35 years probably one of the least liked hotels I’ve ever stayed in.

Staff was great! But I checked out immediately upon checking in. Due to the fact that the hotel was full of children from a weekend hockey tournament in town, who were being allowed to run amuck in the hotel. Running back and forth, playing hockey in every single hallway, yelling and screaming with parents looking on, parents were congregating in the hallways with chairs and having their own hangouts. Hotel staff was not doing anything to keep order, and hadn’t put anything in place to keep peace for other guests. They did offer, after my complaint to go shut this down, but seeing that I was evidently the only guest not from this group. I knew that would just cause more problems. This hotel should have been shut down to other guests during this time, as it seemed all the rooms were occupied by people from this nearby tournament. We checked out immediately as we had a long drive home the next day and needed a good nights sleep. Checked into a Hampton Inn that also had families from this tournament, but they had hired security to keep order and maintain peace for every other guest. It was so peaceful. Apparently, this is a yearly tournament that the entire town knows about. Days Inn needs to do better next time, put rules in place and prepare. And DO NOT BOOK TO ANYONE NOT ATTENDING THIS TOURNAMENT.

This is one of many stays we have enjoyed at this Days Inn in Kingston. We keep choosing this property because we are treated well, breakfast is great with adequate choices. We have stayed for access to cancer treatment and found that meeting with other like patrons was helpful and reassuring. Highly recommend for any stay one night or several regardless of reason. Also good access to food facilities, good shopping and gas stations. Staff are second to non!!

Room appeared clean on first glance, but then found a sock and a Lego figure left behind from the previous people. I wouldn’t normally complain about a free breakfast, but the options were pathetic. The pool was ice cold and dirty.
