We all had a superb stay here. The Hotel make you feel so at home and greet you with a Tea/Coffee and a slice of cake upon arrival. Parking is right in front of the hotel off the main road and has be reached by going over a cattle rig structure. The in structure is quite simple to get over. The Exit one is a different kettle of fish as it goes up into the air and drops down over on to the curb. I know for a fact if I had brought my sports car I would have never been able to leave that way as it would have grounded the car in the raised cattle grid.
When you do get in to the car park the area is laid out into individual bays which are marked out with lengths of wood. Your name will be at the head of one of these bays which is a nice touch. Don't be put off parking your car with regards the exit cattle grid as you can basically park your car along the road outside as I saw a number of other cars doing just that.
The rooms are cosy and spacious. We loved our room overlooking the car park. Breakfast is superb and you really cant go wrong. There is a restaurant on site which does evening meals and non residence use this as well. We never ate here in the evening but many did. In the snug room where you will wait upon arrival there is an honesty fridge with beers, wine, prosecco, cider etc. These are realistically priced and all you do is fill in one of the small sheets with your name, room, drink, quantity and cost and they will work it out and add this on your bill at the end.
