This was a lovely place to stay which we chose partly because it has some EV charging facilities. The restaurant and bar have a good selection with well kept beer and the staff are helpful and friendly. We especially recommend the panna cotta, however, all the food was good. The bedroom and bathroom were a good size and well appointed with tea, coffee and water. We would visit again

Everything really good - except maybe our room could have been bigger but bathroom facilties very good and extra bonus of TWO working EV chargers for overnight charging.

Absolutely amazing hospitality in such a beautiful and tranquil location overlooking the green in the village food was excellent breakfast was filling with endless fresh coffee it’s so rural and quiet no need for earplugs at this lovely accommodation highly recommend and definitely be back again thanks steve

Return stay. Stayed here many times over the last few years, always a warm and friendly welcome, good service, good food and nice rooms. Also, good for business travellers, breakfast available from 7.30, unlike so many country hotels. The Wheatsheaf is ideally positioned for me to travel out in whatever direction my work takes me.
