Very helpful and accommodating staff

Every now and then when travelling you find a gem of a hotel, and the Captain’s Inn at Abu Tig Marina, El Gouna, Egypt is a gem. For a three star hotel it deserves far more than a star. A warm welcome met me from a staff that has treated me like family. For a single woman travelling alone that is like gold. A great room overlooking a charming courtyard, the room was spotless and has a great fridge with cold drinks and snacks. Separate toilet and shower from the bedroom also. A very comfortable bed.

Calm and clean hotel with convenient location in the marina. Very friendly and supportive staff, an extra thank you to Shenouda for being patient and letting me practice Arabic :-)

Everything was OK, same as previous years, except breakfast which was this time terrible, cheap, very low quality, no variety, unexperienced staff. I am a loyal customer since years and years, I never stay in Gouna outside Captain's Inn except only once, have never seen breakfast that bad, pls. introduce the idea of booking bed only not BB, if breakfast will continue like this, thanks

We enjoyed our stay at the hotel. Amazing spot at Abu Tig Marina. You can use the beach of Marina Beach (walkable). Many dining options at Marina or downtown.

I really like the place and the services, El Gouna is amazing place to stay and spend time with family and friends, having access to multiple restaurants and the downtown is great, I would recommend visiting El Gouna and enjoying your time.

I used to stay at the Captain's Inn a lot of times between 2006 and 2012. First time again after 11 years and it's still great 😊! Perfect location, very friendly staff, we will be back!
