Great location, but no air-con or electric fan in the guestrooms so very uncomfortable when the weather is warm. Most rooms also face other buildings & houses directly so there is no privacy at all unless you close the curtain all the times. We wer e on honeymoon and we told the hotel in advance & upon check in. Yet they assigned this kind of rooms to us as most of their rooms face their neighbours. It's terrible!

The rooms were comfortable, the beds were big by European standards. We loved the location--so close to the historic sites and tons of great restaurants.

Great place to stay 5 min to the acropolis and shopping and dinner . They were so helpful on our stay because we had to switch hotels on our last evening due to road closures due to a big biking event. And they were quick to help us find other options. They got us a room at their sister hotel out of the affected area. Also arranged transportation to the new hotel. They went out of there to help us. It saved a lot of stress before our cruise. Would highly recommend this hotel.

The room was incredibly lovely! The hotel was beautiful and we loved the location. It is on the heart of the sites and yet it is still calm and quiet. It’s the perfect hotel in the perfect location and the staff was wonderful as well. Loved it!

Ava was a fantastic stay in Athens. It was surprisingly quiet, walking distance from lots of amazing places and very clean. The breakfast was fantastic and we would gladly stay here again.

Excellent hotel in Placa… minutes from all the historic places. Probably the hotel where emperor Hadrian would have used when visiting Athens.

Great night spent at Ava. Centrally located and a nice, big, clean room.

Wonderful location. A bit pricey, but staff is most accommodating and gracious. Suite is spacious, meticulous, and has everything you need for a comfortable, pleasant stay.

We LOVED the AVA! The front desk lady (Caryssa? Apologies if I got the name spelled incorrectly) was patient, had us checked in in a jiffy, and gave us a great recommendation for local, delicious and affordable eats! We also got some mini-wine bottles when checking in!
