Quel endroit charmant ! Être accueillis dans un palais par un personnel charmant toujours prêt à rendre service, une expérience unique. Situé dans un petit village historique, cet endroit invite au calme et à la détente. Ses piscines offrent des expériences différentes et sont bien situées sur la terrasse de l'hôtel avec vue sur la vallée, l'océan et de magnifiques couchers de soleil. La salle à manger offre un excellent buffet pour le petit-déjeuner et un menu varié pour les autres repas.

Het hotel ligt op ca 10 km afstand van de stad Faro, in de heuvels in het plaatsje Estoi. Het hotel is gemakkelijk per auto te bereiken, beschikt over voldoende parkeergelegenheid en ligt nabij uitvalswegen richting de rest van de Algarve. Het hotel en het restaurant zijn fantastisch geaccommodeerd in een oud paleis. Vanuit hier kijk je uit over de fraaie paleistuin en heerlijk geurende sinaasappelboomgaarden. Onze hotelkamer was ruim, met prima bedden, een comfortabel zitje en een heerlijk balkon. De badkamer was van alle gemakken voorzien. De service, van receptie en de bediening tot en met de schoonmaak, is uitstekend. Het personeel is vriendelijk en gastvrij. Het restaurant heeft een prima kaart. En wat zeker niet vergeten mag worden is het exceptionele ontbijtbuffet. Tot slot beschikt het hotel over een spa en een buitenbad, waar het op zonnige dagen echt geweldig vertoeven is. Kortom: een echte aanrader!

I came here for a relaxing long weekend and was not disappointed. It was my second stay, and the staff were helpful and friendly, the food was delicious. The hotel was nice and quiet and there was lots of space around the pool.

Fabulous old palace containing the bar, restaurant and lounge areas, whilst the rooms are in a modern new wing decorated with interesting modern art. Appreciated the tray of crackers, cheeses and cold cuts that were waiting for us in the room. Comfortable room, fantastic view. Good btreakfast and lovely helpful staff.

Great stay, very clean and welcoming. Great breakfast - parking very convenient. Quiet a little way out from the city but with a car great. Would certainly stay again.

The house keeping could be better. We always found hair in the corners etc. There were also some ants in the bathroom and the room.

one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in.everything was wonderful. BUT the hotel correctly notified us that we had to check out for real at noon because of an incoming wedding party. Which is fine, But it did not tell us in advance that we would have to off the property at noon. In the past I sould alwasy stay at the health club until my flight. instead I spent 4.5 not very pleasant hours in the main hall of the airport, with my luggage keeping me anchored. The hotel is well within its rights to kick us out at the check out time, but should have warned us.

Clean modern rooms in a separate block to the original small palace. Nice pool area and good breakfast buffet. Not quite the same standard of service as would be typical in a 4* e.g. they did not replenish the coffee pods for the Nespresso machine
