We always stay here

Smell throughout building. Curtain above ac was blocking air, move it and noticed bottom cover in mildew. Dropped something on floor went to pick up and trash under the bed from prior guest. Towel rack loose.

While the property has potential, my overall experience did not meet expectations—especially considering the premium rates being charged. Upon check-in, I was informed of a rate change, which was unexpected and disappointing. When I arrived at my room, there was a noticeable odor similar to pet urine, which greatly impacted my comfort. Throughout my stay, the front desk was often unattended, with only a bell or a phone number provided for assistance. This lack of readily available customer service was concerning. This hotel could truly be exceptional with better attention to cleanliness, consistency in pricing, and stronger customer service presence. I hope management will take these concerns seriously to improve future guest experiences.

Room was hot, bathroom smelled and the air conditioner wasn’t cooling off the room.

Okay stay. Don't let the exceptional reviews fool you. This hotel is dated. Our room smelt like smoke the housekeeping could use some help because our room was not cleaned very well. Location is not the great either.

Quick change in plans led to a 1 night stay. The front desk was busy with no help. She mentioned not having room keys & needed to give out masters that were re-programmed. The key-card holder was reused and nasty from previous use. The room didn’t have towels but we were able to get what we needed after visiting the front desk again. Breakfast ended at 930 and we showed up late. The worker was prepping to close and was extremely rude. prepping to close.

Room dirty, smelled like cigarette smoke. Front desk manager rude. So bad that I just left (after I’d paid in full which of course wasn’t refunded). Book the Doubletree instead.

We had to put up a cash deposit even through they took my credit card. Didn’t like this at all.

Property sits off the busy street so quieter than many hotels in Abilene

I was a bit confused with where to place my towels when i wanted to keep using them, or have them washed. Also would have liked to have a location for the towels at the pool.
