Take your own vacuum, duster and polish your going to need it! Take some ear plugs for the horrible air vent in the room that came on half way through the night, thought someone was trying to break into my room! Furniture chipped, old and tired I can only compare my room to one that you may expect to have in a budget hotel, maybe next time I will take my chances at the IBIS for £25 a night.

Parking was free we stayed on top floor view was nice but room heating was not working properly and bathroom door didn't close when we arrived atmosphere seemed pleasant but as i got to reception the receptionist i was greeted by a unwelcoming receptionist which seemed moody really felt uncomfortable checking she did not tell us properly about our stay just checked us in and told us your room is on top floor did not even say enjoy your stay or anything for that reason i will not be going back to stay at the village hotel worst stay ever

Rooms tired and heating and air con seen better days and make awful noise. Hoping the renovations that are on going sort these issues

Lights didnt work when we arrived, then couldnt get room service or assistance vua their message system Toilet not clean

Very unhappy with our experience, no room service as QR code didn't work then could not get through as too busy to reply 2nd day room not refreshed from 1st day no communication between staff and housekeeping

Clean, well appointed and friendly

Staff really lovely. Pool clean as well as changing rooms. Bar/Restaurant nice, but expensive. Rooms need to be upgraded, was disappointed compared to our last stay. Also there was a very pdd noise all night coming from above, it sounded like a tap constantly running. It woke me up a few times. Amenities in room not the best. Cups are so small its ridiculous. Blackout blind had holes in so sun coming through. Could have been better. Overall not the worst hotel, but needs a facelift. Roo

Location and room quality

Nice hotel, perfect for a short stay, well located 15 mins from Leeds city centre. Good facilities. The staff at Village are always friendly and helpful.

Only used the hotel to sleep, we didn't use any of the other facilities

The room was spacious and clean. We did have to ask for a chair in the room. The bathroom was also spacious and clean. The rooms are quiet which is fortunate as we were there on a Christmas party night! Breakfast was fine, the usual help yourself offering. Check in was with a machine however there were two ladies to help. Having human contact is so much better! Great location for Morley and Elland Rd stadium and just off the motorway. It’s worth a stay if you want to be close to the stadium.

Lovely clean spacious rooms. Easy check in Breakfast was plenty full and a good selection

Check-in was smooth and easy, but once we arrived at our room door, there was evidence of drug use on the floor, which wasn't great to see. Also, during our stay no internet in the room, we had to go downstairs to use the wifi, which was a bit of a pain.
