Lovely, start to finish. Nice central waterfront location. Indoor and outdoor waterfront seating for drinks. Nice room, fabulous breakfast. Wonderful.

Breakfast was fabulous, included in price of the room. Great location and views of the Channel. One person that worked there was not very hospitable, blond lady with sixties hair cut. Other then her the staff was GREAT!! Fish and chips were really good and they made me a lemon and ale drink that was delicious. GREAT place to stay if you are near Deal.

Excellent efficient service

We kregen een upgrade namelijk een kamer met zeezicht. De kamer was licht en schoon. De badhanddoeken heerlijk wit en zacht.

Suite 2 with the amazing window seat & sea views made our stay!!

Breakfast was lovely & all staff were pleasant. Our budget room was also very good but the bathroom was a little cosy. All in all a lovely stay

Room was under maintained, toilet was hanging off, moldy mastic around Bath Room needed repainting, did not get any sleep drunks out side two nights 2in the morning cars beeping Room had poor sound insulation,left at 3.30 this morning to go home and get sleep. Food very good staff friendly bar prices good,shame I did not get my breakfast Parking in Deal a complete ripoff would no use this hotel again the Royal is miles better.

The staff were welcoming initially but when we left on Wednesday 1st April the lady doing the breakfast and checkout was clearly stressed. This resulted in her being abrupt with hotel guests at the breakfast table. We could hear her complaining about lack of staff and that she was having to do too much. She also commented on someone asking for brown and white toast as “being weird”. The bedding and towels were clean but there was mould on the bedroom windows and the bath. The food was great in the restaurant.

The room was lovely but neither bed side lights worked and the kettle was in great need to be descaled. Apart from that, it was all very satisfactory and the breakfast was excellent.

We were extremely pleased with Dunkerleys. The room and hotel was very clean and welcoming. The staff were not only efficient,hard working,but always happy and obliging. The food was very good and the bar adequate. We will certainly go back.

Excellent experience. Fault with the hot water supply in our room, but we were upgraded immediately. Very friendly staff, excellent dinner in the evening and breakfast in the morning, Would definately return,

Quiet room, good facilities

Beautiful hotel, spotlessly clean, friendly staff, excellent breakfast & lovely seafront location, couldn’t have asked for more.

Nice full breakfast. Great coffee. Very cordial staff. Very clean. Comfy beds. Wifi was excellent. Had a nice hot shower with good water pressure, even though I was on the top floor. Close to the station and walking distance from pretty much everything. Ian Dunkerley is a national treasure. Was such a pleasure to meet him. The view of the water from my room windows was phenomenal. Had a wonderful stay. Eager to return soon.
