Fabulous stay. Everything was perfect from dinner to breakfast. However I do find the £25.00 surcharge for a dogs stay a little hefty. A welcome pack is offered but not forthcoming sadly

Really nice stay near my old hometown. A peaceful Cheshire country area, very quiet and easy to get to. Parking onsite, safe and secure. Food is great, staff helpful and friendly and comfy surroundings. Good range of breakfast options included. Our room was fairly small but there are options, if there had been other facilities like a spa or sauna it would be 5 stars for facilities. Also, much better room coffee would be great but you see that a lot outside of cities, most people don’t care really but it’s a perk. Cleaned each day, and tidy inside and out. Easy to get to from the M6 and local towns of sandbach and Crewe have rail links. Will stay again for sure.

Absolutely fantastic stay. Staff always had smiles on their faces and went above and beyond to make our stay lovely. Would definitely recommend - food and drink both excellent too. Beautiful building and our room was wonderful.

This is the second time we have stayed at the Bears Paw. booking was easy and Hotels.com very helpful in how to upgrade room. We initially booked a standard room at a very good price especially as it included breakfast, However the standard bedrooms have a shower over the bath and so anyone with mobility issues might find this difficult to access. We paid for an upgrade and what a wonderful Superior room it was. Huge with a long bathroom with bath and a double shower and beautifully soft towels with shower gel body lotion and shampoo. The room was clean with amenities tea, coffee, chocolate and biscuits plus bottles of spring water. The bed was large with beautiful and comfortable bedding. wifi on tap! None of this paying for it as happens in the basic hotels. The breakfast buffet was to die for and the serving staff were quick delivering the requested cooked meals. They even found alternative milk. Sadly we could only stay one night but would definitely return. The only thing that stopped me giving 5 * for cleaning was that along the wall in the bathroom were several pieces of stringy material persumably from the mop head, but we would hope the next visit would not include these.

All the staff were welcoming and friendly throughout our stay . The room was of a high standard with some nice touches - very fluffy towels - comfortable bed - good range of tea and coffee. Pleasant area with nice walks - safe and quiet - ideal stop off if on long journeys North or South with relatively easy M6 access.

Brilliant communication from staff ahead of time and on the day. Ollie, Sophie and Hannah. All very smart, considerate, caring and beautifully YOUNG. Breakfast was outstanding. Wide choice. Excellent quality. Beautiful location... WHAT A WONDERFUL STAY.

The stay was very relaxing, great size room and plenty of parking, breakfast very nice overall very good value for money .

From the moment we arrived we were greeted by a friendly member of staff. The room was very clean and spacious. The bathroom had a wet room lovely bath and even a TV built in. In the bar area the bar staff were very attentive and cheerful, such a pleasure, and there was a lovely lounge style area in which you could enjoy your drink and chat. Later we went through to the dinning area that has a lovely feeling to it. The waitress was very attentive and so polite, talking time to chat to us. The food arrived quickly and was wonderful, well presented and fresh, just the right size of portions. The breakfast the following day didn't disappoint either, great choice and very fresh. Great way to start the day. We are looking forward to returning soon and would highly recommend a stay there to anyone. All the staff and management were a credit to the pub/hotel. 10/10
