Everything was good, standard and understandable

A lovely hotel, 5 mins drive from Bath centre. Walkable too in approx 15 mins, although we didn’t try it. Our room had a comfortable four poster bed, tea/coffee, plenty storage space and an en-suite bathroom with bath/shower. Although the hotel is quite old, It was very clean and furnished with objects from the era. Check in was simple, with a friendly, efficient gentleman. We loved it here and would definitely come again. Thank you so much.

Spotless. Staff very attentive. No lift. However the staff did offer to carry bags upstairs.

The place was quiet and just what we wanted. A bit of a walk into the city if you’re infirm as it’s uphill. That’s not a criticism as we enjoyed the walks.

Yes parking was on site. We didn't need to go to shops

Parking was easy, nice carpark. Within a 15 walk to city centre. Room was lovely and clean and comfortable. All staff were friendly and smiley.

The room was clean as was the bathroom. The room was a bit dated but it was pleasant enough. We didn't have breakfast in the hotel so can't comment on that.

I would not go back again the room is stink and mould on sealing in bathroom I have to left window open all night to get some sleep 😓😓

The property is very run down and the cleanliness was terrible. The quilt was old and torn and we could feel every spring in the mattress . Would not return. The only plus was the room looking out on to the garden and distance from Bath.

Locked out on arrival, reception not manned permanently. Shower control bad, to the point of being dangerous No food in the evening Place was clean and room was large but no working area / surface.

The hotel is set inan amazing area. Walking distance to a shops. The hotel rooms were big and inviting. It was spotless and tidy. The bathroom showed some age but was perfectly functional. And as a cyclist you are very close to an old train track bed that is a shared cycle walking path with a tunnel that runs directly under the hotel. And into the main town centre.
