Staff is very helpful to give useful info on how to visit local area, saved me lot of time, best service I had till now from hotel reception while travelling in Greece. The breakfast is also great with a homemade style.

Wir hatten eine Panoramazimmer, somit war der Ausblick auf Meteora fantastisch. Das Frühstück war ebenso toll und draußen mit Blick auf Meteore zu frühstücken ... was will man mehr? Das Personal ist so unglaublich freundlich. Die Zimmer sind groß, die Dusche gut und unser Balkon hat uns eben einen schönen Ausblick auf Meteor geliefert. Vielleicht ein wenig dunkel eingerichtet, aber alles passend und stimmig. Einziger negative Punkt ... augenblicklich wird ein neues Hotel direkt angrenzend gebaut. So wie verstanden habe baut die Familie ein neues Hotel, das im September 26 eröffnet werden soll, somit ist leider Baulärm vorprogrammiert.

Amazingly beautiful property within walking distance of tree he village center. Breakfast was great, and we loved the friendly staff.

What a wonderful property. The staff were very warm and friendly. The breakfast was excellent...all prepared on site. The property was beautiful inside and out. I would recommend staying in Kastraki where this property is located. The village is very relaxed and the views of the spires are much better than those in larger Kalabaka. The monastaries are breathtaking. Just be prepared to navigate a lot of steps. I would definitely stay at Doupiani House Hotel again!

The absolute highlight is the view from the balcony towards the Meteora rocks. We would come again.

What a treasure of a small hotel. Clean and safe. Very convenient for Meteora sites. Walkable to dining options and plenty of parking. Service was outstanding.

First of all; the location is breathtaking and if it weren´t for following issues, this placee would get a very high grade from us! At arrival, we were offred to upgrade to a room with better view for 15 euro extra, witch we accepted. At the room I quickly noticed that the fridge was not working, which I told the reeceptionist who said that she would tell the manager later when he came in. Later I went to ask and got the answer that they would try to get service for it in the morning. This continued the other day and to keep a long story short, the fridge never got fixed and I never got any update on the matter except when I went to ask for myself, nor were we offered any compensation of any kind. The staff provided us to leave the things we wanted to keep cool to them, but it´s not really convinient to leave the room and ask for help every time you want your water etc. In addition to this, the AC was very poor and did not cool at all at first. After a man came in and removed a filter that was so thick of dust that it had completely blocked the airflow, it got a little butter but still had to be on 24/7 to keep the room at decent temperature. At check out, I asked the receptionist if they could skip the 15 extra euros that were to be paied for the room upgrade, as a gesture for the broken fridge (which btw is a very small one and something I should´nt even have to ask for), but the answere was that she did not have the mandate to do that. In summary; not good handled.
