We got a lovely big room and it was very clean. Beautiful surroundings. Convenient for Gatwick airport.

Great for the airport.

Great service and very accommodating for our dog with beautiful grounds and lots of space for to walk, eat and drink.

Lovely old, secluded property nicely converted and modernised. Decent room, easy parking and fantastic breakfast. Lovely quiet area and helpful staff, too. Worth considering for a night before going to Gatwick but seems to be primarily a Wedding venue so may be 'livelier' at weekends.

Lovely and warm. Really nice old building. Delicious well cooked evening meal. Friendly staff. Only small down side was that the bar area was a bit gloomy and wasn't in keeping with the rest of the building

Lovely hotel in very nice location. On arrival room was overly warm. Room, when cooled down, was comfortable and clean. Staff were very friendly and attentive.

Perfect hotel for overnight stay before heading to the airport, loved everything.

Food, bar, decor, service, bed was great. No aircon though

We would rate our one-night stay as totally fine! Everyone was helpful and welcoming. The hotel was pretty quiet, as it was Christmas Eve, though the walls are thin, and we could hear other guests throughout the stay. We had a drink at the bar and had dinner in the restaurant - the service was good at both, and the food was a bit above average. We also took a walk around the area, and though there aren’t necessarily designated walking places for pedestrians, the surrounding neighborhood was green and serene and beautiful. The hotel helped us arrange a taxi for the morning (Christmas), which was helpful.

Stayed for a Christmas do. Great service, super helpful staff.the atmosphere in the hotel is lovely and there were deer walking past the breakfast room in the morning.

Great location and vicinity for gatwick

One night stay prior to a family funeral. Plentiful parking, imposing building. Efficient check in though not over friendly. Our room was on the first floor. Strange shaped room that was plenty big enough but a bit awkward. Plenty hot water with decent pressure in the bathroom. The bedroom was cold and the heating was not switched on. Obviously this was a recognised problem as a plug in heater had been left for our use. The bed was extremely comfortable and we slept well. We were booked half board. The food was very good at the evening meal but poor cereal choice at breakfast. Drinks a little pricey but to be expected in a hotel. Check out was straight forward. This hotel is ideal for anyone flying from Gatwick. We would definitely return here as it met our needs.

Room was nice, big and very clean One member of bar staff, more interested in phone than serving, one waitress in dining room, steak we had was nice but very over seasoned too salty and peppery and chips too.werent asked if meal was ok, lack of attention.Breakfast, we were left to get on with it , no instruction on how system worked e.g coffee machine, had to call waitress to order breakfast, overall hotel was very nice but waiting and bar staff could do with extra customer service training although they were very pleasant.

What a truly lovey place - room was delightful and although this time only staying due to Gatwick flight I will definitely be back.

Beautiful hotel, great peaceful location. Staff were freindly. Decor is gorgeous and is on Beautiful grounds.

We used this hotel to stay for the night before an early flight. We would stay again very nice hotel much nicer than the pictures online give it credit. We had a family room which was lovely and spaceious. We didnt eat here so i cant comment on the food. Only thing I can say negative is it only had a tiny and bar and there was so tables when we went in for a drink.

It was a very good stay for a family wedding reception.

We only stayed one night, well few of hours to be precise, before heading to the airport for our flight. Receptionist was lovely, made us feel welcome. Room was spacious, clean, comfy beds. Only downside - no aircon, no fan in the room. It was too hot for us to get a decent sleep even with both windows open.

This was a great little find close to Gatwick airport and perfect for our early morning flights. I have marked it down though for a couple of reasons. Firstly if you arrive in the dark the walk from the carpark is poorly lit and as the ground is uneven it’s easy to trip… which I did. Secondly the rooms are pretty good for the money apart from the beds which were bad! Good quality, soft bedding and pillows but the mattress needs to be replaced. There was a huge dip (twin room) and you could feel the spring coils digging into you all night and even once you were up you cousin still feel exactly where they were in your skin. Hence why I’ve scored down. Shame as otherwise it would have been full marks.

Our 2nd stay at Stanhill Court whilst visiting family. Beautiful location, welcoming reception staff. Room was very clean & comfortable with views across the garden.
