This hotel is the best in Paris. The room is spotlessly clean, spacious for central Paris, and tastefully modern. The location is central to everything: 20-step to the nearest Metro (Bonne Nouvell), 25-min walk to Notre Dame, 30-min walk to Louvre, lot of shops and restaurants around. We stayed at two other hotels before this one, and both were more expensive with very tiny room for a more expensive price. But, what makes this hotel the best for us is the hospitality and helpfulness of all the staff, especially Yasmin, Samira, and Johnny. Due to our chain of unfortunate events (bad on-line booking for Lourve museum tickets and our purse with passports was stolen the night before our return flight), Yasmin and her staff took the matters to their hearts and helped us got the refunded for the tickets, and printed out documents for the emergency passport applications. Yasmin even helped sorting out the matter after we returned back to Thailand. Without them, we would never want to return to Paris again. But, we know our next Paris trip will be spent at Hotel des Comedies --- Thank you all for turning our nightmares in Paris to be a wonderful visit!!!

It was a good stay. Staff were very helpful.

The A/C of my room was noisy I can't sleep for three nights.

Late night check in, and next day 9am check out. The hotel was very good. It had everything we needed in the room, and room was set out very well. Newley refurbished room.

Construction was going on. Started by 8:30. Bathroom very small.

The hotel was centrally located and clean. There was nothing to complain about with the room either. However, we were not treated nicely when checking in. It was almost midnight, there were three of us women, one of whom was a young girl, we were all very tired from our trip, and we were pressured to pay some kind of city tax. Of course, we're all in favor of obeying the rules of every city we visit. But we could have sorted this out with a clear head the next day. The way we were handled was not fair or professional

I was the third time in Paris and this hotel I liked the most because it was very central and the room was big for the good price we paid.

Établissement accueillant avec un bon personnel. A quelque mètres du métro Bonne nouvelle et beaucoup de resto et théâtre.

Good location, easy access to metro. Beds and pillow a little hard. Great staff.

Staff were friendly and location was very good. One of the washrooms had a very musty smell but otherwise it would be 4 stars.

Perfect location and great service offered by friendly staff. Breakfast has many varieties and plenty available.

Room was adorable and large- staff were very kind and helpful. However, the demo and rehab of adjacent rooms beginning early in the morning was not exactly what we expected. The elevator was tied up during the day for tradesmen and the noise from across and in the hall was hard to tolerate early. Location is great as is staff. Hopefully the rehab work is completed soon.
