We enjoyed five night at this well situated hotel, right on the main square and within easy walking distance to the beaches and nightlife. Also within walking distance to the train station and main bus stop. Rooms come in very different sizes. Our double room was clean and comfortable with a very good mattress. There is a small refrigerator and a lock box in the room, along with a tv. Maid service was efficient and friendly. The hotel staff were very friendly and the breakfast is good. The sons of the founder run the hotel and the one I met was attentive and welcoming. The three women at the front desk were all very helpful, and multilingua, with at least English and German among them.

The air conditioner broke a couple of days into our stay. I told the owner and he insisted it was because I didn’t know how to use it instead of calling someone in to fix the problem. When I told him we needed to change rooms he said that if my room wasn’t working, the entire hotel had no ac either… He finally called a technician and found that the unit was indeed in need of repair. Otherwise, great location and easy parking…just not great with customer service.

The staff at Il Nocchiero are very friendly and helpful. We stayed for 5 nights in a corner room with wrap around deck which was lovely. The location is perfect for walking to the beach and to restaurants. Breakfast was sumptuous with many options. A big plus was the private parking which made it easy for taking day trips. We had a great experience and would highly recommend!

Parking, well situated 11mins from Pietragrande & Caminia. Boardwalk as well and restaurants. Very clean and kind staff

We got everything we needed and a gift as well as an surprise. We hope we were liked as clients as well. It was nice to hear that we were the first Finnish clients by il Nocchiero. The staff was super helpful and friendly. The cooperation between the hotel and the beach was super and very nice people. Nice town Soverato for families with children also. The train station close and only few hours away from Reggio Calabria. The sea and the beach was super beautiful with beige/white sand and clear water. Just beautiful experience. Near there is everything you need from the local entrepreneurs like Ciro Cut&Care for your hair like Italian style. Just in love with Soverato.

Our stay was wonderful but the water in the frig should have been told before that it was chargeable not complementary. It was 4 euros a day . Not happy with this
