Lovely hotel with warm & friendly staff. Great location to everything we wanted to explore. Nothing was too much trouble . We will return!

Loved the room with high ceilings. Bed super comfortable, so quiet despite been on a relatively busy street. Air con top notch. Lovely staff. The little kitchen in the wardrobe was brilliant wish every hotel had it. Would stay again.

A great value very nice 4 star hotel. And given where it is located it is very quiet too! Love it

The water in the shower never got quite hot enough.

The receptionists were friendly and helpful, checking us in and out with no fuss. Helped us with directions etc The hotel is in a great location, close to the shops and restaurants. Everything is within walking distance. The bed was comfortable, the tea and coffee making facilities were great. There was a fridge and microwave but we never used these. Molton Brown products in the bathroom. Shower over the bath. Everything was clean to a very good standard. I have stayed here twice now and I wouldn't stay anywhere else. We were given a 20% discount on the Q Parking, only 5 minutes walk away.

A lovely base for exploring Liverpool. It’s Very central but quiet all the same despite being surrounded by nightlife.

Lovely hotel right in the heart of Liverpool

Great place to stay! Amenities were also fantastic.

Jess and the team were very welcoming as usual the place was spotless. Thank God for the air-conditioning as it was really hot outside. Only thing I would say that could do with a update is the mini fridge just outdated. We loved or stay and will be back again best place in liverpool. Also thanks to the team for the lovely card and chocolate it went down a treat.

Great location in short walking distance to the City Centre. Very friendly staff. Very clean location.

Well located, and safe (need pass key for the front door to open), staff were friendly. What I appreciated was having free drinks served to guests in the front area. I had a friend visit, so it was a nice touch for us both. Nearby there is a large Tesco's as well as other shops. Only down side is sometimes at night you can hear music from nearby venues, but they normally stop by midnight. Room was super clean, and the beams in the ceiling was a nice touch. The shampoo, body wash, and conditioner supplied was a nice touch (my previous hotel in Edinburgh which cost a lot more only had one bottle that was both shampoo and body wash!).

Staff were good . Room was very small , must smaller than expected . Too expensive for such a small room that was poorly furnished . Won’t stay there again

It would be nice to have water in the room.

We did not know what to expect from this hotel. We were looking for alow cost one night stay in Liverpool and found this on the site. The price and location suited us and so we booked and we are so happy with our choice. The staff are wonderful, really cheerful and helpful. Our room was spotlessly clean and had everything that we needed. The addition of the 'kitchenette' was interesting and really useful. The bathroom was clean and the range of toiletries was excellent. The bed was comfortable and we had a brilliant night's sleep. We would recommend 'The Resident' to anyone visiting Liverpool.
