Fantastic owners - made our stay a memorable one!

I’ve never stayed at a more friendlier, welcoming place. Lynn was very friendly and helpful. She told us about things to see that we otherwise wouldn’t have even bothered to. The Rathbaun is central to it all and the city of Lisdoovarna is charming and quaint.

John and Lynn are so welcoming, kind, and helpful. The hotel is immaculate and the breakfast is delicious. Would definitely recommend if you’re staying in the area.

The property is a little dated, but in a charming way. The restaurant was closed when we got there, but they kept the bar open late for 4 of us. Very helpful staff!!!

The property is a bit dated but what makes it exceptional is the owner and staff who are so kind and welcoming. The breakfast is the best we have had in a week of traveling. Lisdoonvarna is a great location to use as a base.

The hotel is old. It is conveniently located but room is small and old. I would probably stay somewhere else next time. The front desk staff were very friendly and nice.

Great place to stay - friendly staff - a great town

The Rathbaun felt like a home away from home. The hospitality was incredible and the bed was the most comfortable I slept in within two weeks of travel. Plus, they put typed out direction for areas such as the shower, which was most appreciated. The area was quiet and lovely, close to the cliffs of Moher. You should definitely stay here!

Excellent personal service, spotlessly clean, great location for attractions - Tara's advice on heading to the Cliffs at sunset made our evening and freed up the following day to visit the Aran Islands. Saw so much more thanks to their advice and local knowledge. Great breakfast and wonderful service, really well looked after.

The staff and owners were incredibly helpful & kind, even contacting us when we left something behind. They were extremely knowledgeable about the area and sights to see, places to visit. A great, quiet place to stay! Very clean!

Check-in was unbelievably good. Tara was exceptional and making sure we had everything that we need and even helped and planning the days. I would recommend this place to anyone.

We really enjoyed staying here. Family owned. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. I would definitly recommend.
