Parking in limited and tight to get into But well worth it for the location pleasant staff and great breakfast

The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The hotelwas the perfect location in Holmfirth and the food was delicious with great options.

A stop off on way back home from holiday on east coast . Perfect location. Dog friendly. Lovely Inn.Clean rooms.Great selection at the bar...Good food .Exceptional staff. Met up with family who live an hour from Holmfirth. Memories made. Recommended. Will definitely return.

Staff not very knowledgeable Room not cleaned after first night - duvet pulled up was the extent No washing of tea cups or replenishment of biscuits - had to ask for these Reception unsure if we should have had them. Had to follow done someone to a store cupboard to get them Staff were willing but not trained! Excellent breakfasts and evening meal for 10

Room 17 was so small the door couldn’t open fully. Also the bed was very old and the mattress uncomfortable. A terrible nights sleep.

We didn't feel particularly welcomed upon arrival, despite being paying guests. But the main issue was the room - dated decor, it was tiny, and it was dirty. There was a hair on the bed, dirt in the sink and on the shower walls, mould on the shower ceiling, dirty grout etc. The room was also boiling hot and very dusty. The dining room was also dusty and the teapots were dirty. It was completely overpriced and I wouldn't recommend staying there.

A great place to stay, in the centre of town.

Good restaurant. Friendly staff. Great location but property showing its age a little. Extremely hot room, even for May.

The staff were all polite and helpful. The room was clean tidy and had a very good nights sleep so bed was comfortable. Situated in a great place we went to the Picturedrome which was next door. Thank you for a wonderful stay would definitely stay again

Perfect for our short stay, lovely room, friendly and helpful staff, and the food was amazing.

Found easily and parking was great. Very good customer service in all areas. Very attentive staff in restaurant and bar. Breakfast was great as was dinner. Very comfortable public areas. Room was compact but clean and the bed was very comfortable. Would definitely stay again.

Exactly as described stayed here several times very handy for picturedrome.parking good food very good. Only drawback, no leisure facilities and bar closes at 11will stay again when next in holmfirth

Perfect place to stay in the lovely town of Holmfirth

Great hotel in the centre of Holmfirth. The food was excellent as we're the staff, they worked so hard and we're always on the go. Only downside was the room was very warm, however there was a fan provided which helped a little bit. Good stay and would stay again.

It's a very convenient place to stay if visiting for a gig at the adjacent Picturedrome. They do warn you about noise, but at a weekend it wasn't the noise from the venue which was a problem, it was the pub and it's customers at the back where people sat out talking until 2:30. Nothing the hotel can do to control this, but replacing the windows with newer more soundproof would help. The staff were as always very friendly & helpful. Will it stop me staying here? Overall no, but I'd avoid a Friday or Saturday night in the future

Had a great 2 night stay, lovely staff.

Really enjoyed our stay! We did struggle to find the road to enter the carpark, rang up and staff member holly came to the end of road for us which was very caring. Room 34 was lovely. We paid to include breakfast and was asked during check in what time we would like to have it in the morning. In the morning our table was laid out and ready. Our breakfast arrived promptly after order and it was great produce. No faults at all :) would 100% stay again! Thanks
