Excellent including dinner breakfast and staff

Great Hotel, Great Staff...

The hotel had a very large wedding going on. If I had been told I would not have booked it. The breakfast was very poor and served cold. With little choice.

Dinner was nice but expensive. Ribeye was oversalted.

Good Parking ( Top car park off the hill to the left is much easier with luggage ) Friendly Staff , Clean / Warm and comfortable room. Leisure facilities clean and all in service - one issue was space in the pool etc , it seems locals use the site and have a right of passage to the pool / Jacuzzi as we were twice subtly forced to leave the pool as people took their position and left us no choice. Suggest an hour either side of the normal operating hours when the hotel rooms are busy just for guests to use the facilities - not a complaint , just a suggestion. Otherwise a fantastic stay - we love the Gower as we have family in Penclawdd and visit regularly. Room service spot on too - lovely fresh room to return too each evening - Thanks

Although the main area was a little dated the rooms were modern, clean and had all necessary amenities. The staff were fabiulous so welcoming and friendly. Breakfast was exceptional. Special shoutout to Liz who looked after us during breakfast (fabulous service and a genuinely nice person) and th gentleman who was th night porter. Both outstanding members of staff who delivered excellent service

Staff were very helpful. Plenty of parking space. Bed really comfortable. And the food in the restaurant was lovely.

Rubbish was found all over the floor (plastic nails, bottle of water under the dressing table, half eaten cookie), bed extremely uncomfortable, food in the restaurant salty(when sent back the tone was like I was asking for more food, rather than trying to rectify error politely), no idea how this place is 4star, would never go back. Spa just re-opened after refurb, but works still going on, debri everywhere, smell of silicone in the changing room revolting. Staff on reception and spa lovely.

We were a family of 11 people having Xmas lunch. The food was excellent and as it was a carvery, you could have as much as you wanted. The staff was very attentive without being pushy. The room was excellent, it was very clean, plenty of coffee, tea. The breakfast, lots of choice from cereals to a full English which was cooked to order and it was superb, everything was tasty. It is a fantastic hotel with brilliant staff.

Nice hotel, very oldie worldly but great value for money, staff really good.
