Tired, dreary, not good enough. I stayed in room 209 and the bed was simply a disgrace. Made up of 2 single mattresses, one about 15 years old and the other one in its 80s. Sagging, springs sticking out, quite simply unacceptable. There was no hot water in the shower, the place desperately needs a revamp, it’s old, tired and dirty in places. Won’t be staying again.

Clean room food in restaurant good just the breakfast let it down. Hit food limited and some was cold

Nice wee stopover for early morning flights. Didn’t eat here, room was large warm and comfortable. Also saved us a drive over the Glenshane Pass in snowy conditions, making our morning less stressful.

The female staff member was very welcoming and attentive throughout our stay. Room was very clean and was nice to have a bath. Location wise was 5 minute drive from Airport for our early flight. Night Porter ensured we had a good stay upon check out. Would stay again.

Our stay was room only due to early airport start. Hotel staff lovely & helpful. Hotel warm & everywhere very clean. Bed extremely comfortable & a great shower.

We didn't have breakfast as we had an early flight. However, we did have an evening meal and it was excellent

Ballyrobin entices you to come and stay It has a traditional exterior with its cottage look and red door and a reputation for good food It presents a warm welcome and the staff are amazing in helpfulness and the accommodation is smart modern and with lots of added accessories. There was only one problem the bed was so fabulously comfortable I could have been late to the nearby airport for my flight except for the fact that the transport to and from the Airport arranged by the hotel reception is highly organised and I was checking in for my flight in good time.

Booked the Ballyrobin because we had a very early flight in the morning and wanted a good nights sleep before a long flight. It was close to the airport and staff booked a taxi for us. However neither of us slept well. Both of the single beds in the room were so uncomfortable, lumpy mattresses. We hardly got any sleep and will not be staying again. The hotel definitely need to upgrade the beds.
