The carpet in the hallway needs cleaning. Our room was was clean and nice.

We had a large room with a water view and a balcony that was wonderful. It was great to sit on the balcony and enjoy our morning coffee and tea. The staff was very friendly and accommodating.

The property is centrally located across from the Dover Beach. Lots of dining options nearby or a short walk to the town centre. Staff was excellent other than one server in the main restaurant,

Suggest a little more organization/help for check out with elevators and taxi picks. Luggage pick up - use your service lift to take luggage down from 2nd and 1st floors since elevator default to highest floor called. Taxi - maybe someone at back door helping some people with luggage since that is where taxi pick up was. I was fine but was very difficult for some with the revolving door and stairs.

Very clean and staff very friendly. Terrible steak at the chophouse though. Overall a good stay!

Noisy neighbours, banging doors not a great nights sleep. Not the hotels fault but doors could close more slowly and rooms be better insulated for noise.

Nice hotel with free parking. I had a nice room with a balcony and see view on the first floor, which was directly above the restaurant. Everything was fine except two problems. 1. The doors to the balcony didn’t lock properly and 2. I kept hearing a regular thud - which I believe was a door from the restaurant to the kitchen banging each time the staff went in and out. That really needs to be sorted out as it would be easy to add a dampener to the door jam. Other than that I don’t have any other criticism. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The breakfast offerings was excellent and the fillet steak I had one evening was delicious as was the glass of Shiraz-Cabernet Sauvignon I had.

We have stayed in many hotels but sadly we won't be going back to this one. The premier room that we booked barely had enough room to get past the bed and TV, you struggled to sit on the toilet and the terrible smell coming out of the toilet was ghastly. The location is obviously excellent as were the staff, however this hotel needs a review of its prices and standards as they don't match up to what they charged.

Fantastic as always

The hotel had a great first impression. The lobby is really nice and inviting. Front desk and staff are present and very helpful during our stay. The elevator acts like the first made elevator though, very slow and not in order and very small. So if your room is on the 4th floor you have that to look forward to since the stairs do not go all the way to the f 4th floor. My biggest issue was their labeling of the rooms. We booked a two double bed room but they do not have those, all their double bed rooms are one bed and a couch that is not very comfortable. We gave the bed to kids and slept on the couch and woke up aching because it closer to the door. Aske from desk and he said all the room are the same, it was very tight and hard yo move around with kids. The bathroom was very clean, the bathtub tile was chipped just at two spots but very clean. They gave us extra towels. The tv does not work even for basic local news, you would have to connect your phone or your own apps. The location is great tho, right beach front and very close to dover castle

Great hotel!

Classic British hotel. Small rooms, tiny lifts. Only one or two working front desk very busy. No bellmen to assist with luggage. That being said, we had a delightful time. Adjacent to a walkable beach promenade, with great views of the Cliffs of Dover. Perfect for a pre- or post-cruise stay. Five minute taxi to the pier.

We booked the room on Hotel.com crossing from Calais after a challenging few days with a car that had broken down going through border control. The room was well priced, although a little small and tired, but so were we! On arrival we got a very warm welcome at the lovely reception.

Helpful friendly staff , a beautiful room with lovely view

Its says theres wyfi in all room we were on the 3rd floor and the singnal was very poor, 4 times during are stay we complained at reception each time we were told it would be sorted but it never was.
