The charm is the small, boutique property in a great, walkable location. But what makes it special is the staff. Fara at the front desk made my stay feel warm and comfortable. She was always helpful with a kind and friendly demeanor. She went out of her way to show me around, help with my luggage (4 flights of stairs!) and greeted me by name every time she saw me. She even stepped in to set up and serve breakfast when needed, with a smile on her face. I hope they appreciate the gem they have in Fara.

Cute facility centrally located easy walking to dinning, happy hours and shopping! Definitely would stay here again!!

Our stay at this beautiful historic boutique hotel in Québec City was nothing short of exceptional. We were captivated by the hotel’s charm, elegance, and wonderful sense of history. The location was perfect, allowing us to easily explore the cobblestone streets, historic sites, shops, and restaurants of Old Québec. The staff were very friendly and helpful and gave us great suggestions of places to dine. We will definitely be back.

A beautiful small hotel well situated for walking around old Quebec. The staff had a problem with breakfast one morning as a staff member did not show up. Staff clean the room every second day which is fine but one day they did a poor job. Towels missing and bathroom not cleaned properly. The front end staff were wonderful and did their best to resolve problems.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Had a small issue in the shower on a weekend and they worked quickly and efficiently to fix it. Wonderful check in/out, friendly and helpful. Epic location, walked everywhere

A great hotel and really friendly staff. A very good, but basic breakfast. Rooms don't have coffee machine or kettle, however you can get coffee/tea all day down in the lounge area. A great stay and fantastic location for seeing old Quebec.

lovely staff and location... great place and people

The staff were very personable, engaged and kind. Made my stay a happy place! The room was one of a kind, beautiful and calming. Location was perfect: on the edge of Old Quebec, so in the old, but away from the noise. I highly recommend this amazing hotel and wish I was there right now!

Clean room

Fantastic stay! From the crêpes at breakfast, to the clean, comfortable room and the friendly, helpful, bilingual staff, it was a delight. Great location too!

Great location just inside the old city walls. Short walk to the centre and on a quieter street. We were very pleased with our room and walk-in shower. Service and assistance from the reception desk was always excellent. Continental breakfast was fairly basic: pastries, decent coffee, jam and toast. Crepes to order. For our tastes, we would have liked more fresh fruit and berries, plain yoghurt and muesli or granola.

The staff was exceptional in helping us to get places and suggestions. The room was excellent and breakfast was fine.

Staff is wonderful, location is great. The room was showing its age, furnishings could use updating, water pressure in shower could be better. It’s an old charming building, don’t expect new amenities and extra comforts, and you won’t be disappointed.

Charming hotel with lovely personnel.

Our room was adjacent to property maintenance work which began at 7 AM and the hot water was shutoff at 9 AM. Needless to say, it was very noisy and we had to take an early shower. We would have appreciated to know about this inconvenience and make an informed decision before booking.

With the transition of ownership still fresh I found there was some inconsistencies between the Expedia posting and what was actually available. But the attention to detail once on the site was top notch and feel these will be addressed in short order.

Petit chambre avec tapis, très propre. Malheureusement le lavabo était en dehors de la salle de bain (directement dans la chambre). La télévision et le téléphone ne fonctionnaient pas. Nous avons aussi eu une alarme à 6h du matin, ce que nous n'avions pas demandé...

Charming B&B with excellent staff. Great continental breakfast. Location is perfect - just far enough from the melee and close enough to walk to all attractions.
