We weren’t aware of the times of the restaurant and arrived at 7.55pm after an awful 3hr journey to be told the kitchen closed and we have to find food elsewhere.

I didn't have breakfast but i had an evening meal and i could not fault ,,really nice dinner..

Parking can be a bit of a challenge as its a popular spot

The greyhound is a lovely pub run by a fantastic team and a beautiful Village in Hertfordshire well worth a visit

Lovely country-side inn. Excelent service and good food. They basicly only serve english breakfast, but that seems to be the common denominator at most inns/hotels in england. The dinner options are great and the local beer is really good.

Nice old pub, with accommodation out side. Was comfortable and quiet. Food in the restaurant was very nice with good options and price.

Very no frills accommodation. Shower was really small, with hardly any side space. Breakfast was lovely.

Free breakfast is delicious. Food options range from traditional to special plates. Pub definitely has the English feel. Outdoor tables are perfect to have a pint and enjoy the sun. The staff puts five star hotel chains to shame. They are friendly, attentive and professional. Definitely staying here again.

Really nice place in a chocolate box village

Parking is a big issue if you arrive any time. The breakfast was very good and the service too. Our room was painted bright white/the bathroom had seen better days and was very small and could have been cleaner (door did not close). Aldbury is a lovely village. If I stayed again I would request one of the more modern rooms.

Lovely tiny village with a small pond with ducks out front. Pub downstairs. Nice breakfast. Beautiful flowers on the patio. Really deep bathtub in the room. 😁
