We stayed just one night, a Monday, as we wanted to go to the market held in Moreton in Marsh every Tuesday, April to October. This market was first granted by charter in 1629 and established in its current form in 1976. While it is a relatively small market, it was very interesting, and we got a couple of lovely items. The Manor House Hotel is located about a 15 minute walk from the train station, and just steps from the market. It is an historic building just oozing charm. It is quite a large property and has beautiful gardens. Check in was easy…and they kept our luggage while we explored the village and our room was ready, Our room was in a ‘newer’ section, overlooked some rooftops, the gardens and was absolutely gorgeous. The room was decorated beautifully, and had everything we needed. While it was very hot out, and had no air conditioning, we were very comfortable with the fan that was provided. Sleep came easy with a very comfortable bed and beautiful quiet!! And, as a bonus, was advised at check in that a full breakfast was also provided!! I would very highly recommend staying here as a gateway to some of the iconic Cotswold towns.

We had a most wonderful stay in this beautiful, vintage hotel, equipped w all the modern amenities. We were upgraded to a junior suite, which was lovely. The gardens are gorgeous and the staff is great. So kind, so helpful, so pleasant. Tnx so much to everyone!

Due to hot weather, the hotel needs to provide more a/c options in the bedroom. The staff on reception were exceptional.

Staying at Manor House was a treat. The breakfast was delicious. One can order hot breakfast and the buffet items were served fresh daily. The staff at the front desk were very friendly & welcoming. Despite this being an old mansion, the Manor House has been restored beautifully. The bed was comfortable with a nice en-suite shower and bathroom. Would highly recommend.

Very attentive staff. Accommodations were comfortable and clean. The dining experience was exceptional and breakfast offerings were plentiful and delicious. Would definitely return. Highly recommend this property for lodging and dining.

Unique quality hotel with beautiful gardens. Comfortable room. Big fluffy white towels in the bathroom. Staff very attentive. Could not fault the breakfast.

Best hotel in Moreton in Marsh !

Very clean, hospitable and well located. The staff were incredibly warm and helpful.

Unser Zimmer war ziemlich schräg, was aber wahrscheinlich aufgrund des Alters des Hauses war. Bett war ok. Frühstück a la carte war gut, halt das übliche englische Frühstück. Der Preis ist eher hoch für das was geboten wird.

Everyone at the Manor House was friendly and helpful. The check in was easy, dinner service and food was excellent and breakfast was delicious. Thank you for a great stay in Moreton in Marsh.

Really nice bar on-site, however the breakfast was not very good, someone needs to revisit this as the French press coffee was awful and the breakfast was not all that appetising. Other than that, fantastic rooms, kind staff and fantastic Location, in the town of Moreton-on-Marsh.

We enjoyed the convenient location with car park a short distance away. The breakfast was lovely with a variety of entrees. The staff was very friendly & helpful. Our double room was small. However the pillows & mattress were rather uncomfortable with a musty smell to the room.

No issues with the hotel. Excellent stopover with access to lovely places to visit in the Cotswolds.

An architecturally beautiful hotel with a lovely garden. It's well maintained and clean. The breakfast was good offering a wide choice of fresh food. 95% of the staff were helpful and very welcoming, but were let down by one curt stroppy member behind the bar. The hotel was incredibly hot even with the radiators turned off in our room.
