Hosts were lovely, place was spotless, and breakfast was great. It's not a fancy hotel, it's a guesthouse, but it's a nice one.

Hosts were lovely. Lot of noise at night from seagulls. Had to keep bedroom window shut. Rooms could do with being updated.

Booked accommodation for my partner whilst I was in hospital. He was really impressed with everything from how spotlessly clean everything was and how comfortable his room was, to the warm welcome. He would recommend such to anyone.

Staff were very friendly and breakfast was amazing. I would definitely stay here again.

Seaside B+B less than 10 mins walk from the train station [Paignton]. The owners/hosts were most welcoming, and served an excellent breakfast. Very reasonably priced offering good VFM, would happily use again.

Fantastic value for money. 5 minutes to the sea front, 5 minutes to the town centre. Lots of pubs, restaurants, takeaways within walking distance. Room was basic but very clean and well presented. Loads of street parking after end September, massive car park at the top of the road anyway. Excellent and varied breakfast, cooked to order included in the price! Hosts were very helpful and attentive.

Very happy with my stay (1 night). A warm welcome on arrival. Friendly and helpful throughout. No issues with the property and facilities - all clean and in good condition. Lovely breakfast set me up well for walking the next stage of the coast path.

From the initial greeting to leaving it was lovely to stay at Haldon. The room was up a couple flights of stairs and had an en-suite bathroom. It looked over a bit of a park. The hotel was only about 200 yards to the sea and sand so in an ideal location. It was only about 5 minutes to the railway station as well. Breakfast was included in the price and consisted of cereals, juices, tea or coffee, full English (you are able to chose what you required the night before) and toast. It really set you up for the day. Ideal for a few days away from the hustle and bustle of daily life.

少し早く着いたので、荷物を預かってもらおうと思ったら、早めにチェックインさせてくれました。ありがたかったです。朝食は好みのイングリッシュブレックファストを出していただけます。ホストのご夫婦がとてもフレンドリーで、いい感じです。お掃除も行き届いて申し分ありません。ペイントンの駅、スチームトレインの駅からも近くてお勧めできるB&Bです。

Friendly and welcoming hosts

Booked last minute and phoned to confirm my arrival time but didn't seem to be a problem. Had a warm welcome and asked my choices for a Full English breakfast in the morning - very happy that hash browns were a choice! They also had excellent filter coffee ready. The room was lovely and warm and I had a great night's sleep. It was a Separate bathroom down the hall but I had my own key and there was plenty of space to get changed so not a problem for me. They have very friendly cats but I didn't see them in the evening. Found on street parking a few blocks away which was free 5pm- 9am.
