Not a hotel but a B&B (the apps seem to market it as a hotel) in good location behind the cathedral and not too far from the Capo market. First impressions of the area may make you apprehensive as it’s down a small street in residential area undergoing refurbishment. However once you’ve been 24 hours you realise it’s a safe and friendly area. Note that there is no 24 hour reception (it’s only open during the morning). I suggest you make arrangements to gain access before you arrive as it’s a code controlled door to get in. If you don’t (like we did) don’t panic, call them. We booked a deluxe room which was on the second floor (there is a lift) advertised with ‘balcony’ but the balcony was the passageway to the room overlooking a small courtyard without anywhere to sit. Probably nice in the summer as it was a shady room. Room was clean and contained a double bed one seat and a small wall mounted tv. There was a large en-suite but no where to hang the towels. There was a fridge, a kettle and cups but no coffee or tea. Breakfast was typically European cheese, ham, croissants, fruit, yogurt and was from 0830 to 1000. It’s a family run establishment and the staff were friendly and eager to please. If you stay here it feels like it’s responsible tourism. Finally, There is a small alimentary about 5 minutes away which is open 6 days a week till 2000. Not a luxury experience but an authentic experience of Palermo.

The room size was adequate and the location acceptable, but unfortunately several aspects of our stay were disappointing. Breakfast was offered for €8 per person, but the quality did not justify the price. The options were extremely limited: a coffee, two slices of ham, a croissant placed on a tray, and a small slice of lemon cake. There were no real choices available, which made the price feel excessive for what was provided. The mattresses were very hard and uncomfortable, and the pillows were also of poor quality, making it difficult to rest well. Housekeeping service was minimal. During our five-night stay, towels were changed only once or twice and the beds were not properly made most of the time. Communication before arrival was also challenging. When we arrived around 6 p.m., there was no staff at the property and no prior instructions on how to access the building. After several messages and phone calls, we finally received the necessary information. Arriving at night with a child and no guidance was not a pleasant experience. Overall, while the room itself was acceptable, the lack of communication, poor breakfast value, and limited service made the stay below expectations.

Right next by the cathedral, but in a quiet street. Close to other attractions too. Shuttle bus to Monreale is very close. There are times that neighbors could talk loudly at night.

Easy check in, the room was a lovely size with a great bathroom. Very clean and room service was excellent. Breakfast was excellent great way to start the day. The staff could not do enough for you absolutely no complaints

The place is very close to the Palermo cathedral and eateries, very convenient. Nice to include breakfast. The only place throughout our monthlong trip in Italy with legit air conditioning. The place falsely advertised onsite parking. There is a public parking lot within a block but it is full and over parked at all hours all day every day. There street parking also is always full. Public and street parking is not onsite parking.

Rita took very good care of us, her breakfast was outstanding and she was very easy to talk to. Our host Vincent was very courteous and professional. I would definitely book them again. Ciao for now

Le personnel est sympathique et a un bon sens de l’hospitalité. Ils sont attachant. C’est propre. Bien climatisé, le petit déjeuner est très correct. Pas de parking, pas de blanchisserie contrairement à ce qui est indiqué par expédia.

Passamos 4 dias bem aproveitados.Palermo tem atrações bem interessantes. Local para estacionar na Zona ZTL não está mencionado nas características de estacionamento do hotel.

Vi ankom sent om lørdagen og blev taget godt imod. Det er et lille familiedrevet B&B med virkelig hyggelig atmosfære. Der var en lille balkon ud mod gaden, som man lige kunne knibe en stol ud på. Morgenmaden var fin og der manglede ikke noget. Lidt brød man selv kunne riste, smør, ost, pølse og skinke. Herudover yoghurt, cereals og lidt frugt. Stedet sørgede for at vi blev hentet fra lufthavnen. Det var en rigtig sød og meget informativ chauffør. 15 meter fra stedet ligger en lille fortovscafe. Der fik vi den bedste machiati. Også dette er familiedrevet, og de var også virkelig søde. Vi har virkelig nydt vores dage der, og kan varmt anbefale et ophold. Datteren taler godt engelsk, hvilket var en stor hjælp.

Nice room, great breakfast, good location

At finde en parkerings plads i palermo er abosolut forærdeligt, men vi lykkedes. Generalt ville jeg foreslåg at finde et hotel uden for palermo og tage en dagstur med toget. Så slipper man for at køre i Palermo, som kan være noget af et chok, især for en dansker. Hotellet var i sig selv fint, morgenmaden havde yogurt, hvilket var fantastisk, da vi efter 7dages rundrejse på sicilien, nærmest kun havde haft mulighed for sød sicilensk morgenmad. Check-in/Check-ud var okay. De snakkede ikke engelsk. Min kæreste er spansk og forstod heldigvis hvad der blev sagt. Hotellet lå i stille omgivelser og tæt på indre by af palermo. Personligt var jeg ikke kæmpe fan af Palermo. Den historiske del af byen var smuk og venlig. Vi fik dog forvildret os ud i slumkvarter, som åbenbart ligger på udkanten af den historieske by del... Hvilket var tættere end forventet og det var ikke et trykt sted. Tag på et af markederne i Palermo! Vi fik den bedste sea food pasta ret!
