This was the last stop at the end of a 22-day road trip covering over 6000 miles. My wife and I had stayed in 18 different hotels in those 22 days. While the staff did nothing overtly wrong, they were not as pleasant as what we had experienced in the previous 17 hotels. I felt like an intruder. No smile, no welcome to our hotel. Just check in and bye.

The room and lobby were clean. Had a nice variety of breakfast items.

Overall the stay was ok for an overnight trip. When we checked in, the attendant acted bored and annoyed we were there. She rushed through the check in process and seemed irritated when we asked questions. It was a busy night in the area and we had gotten the last avaliable room. As a result, the hotel was louder than we expected with lots of banging and stomping from the room above us. Location was easy to get to, and there were lots of restaurants in the area.

Ac stopped working 3 nights in staff was rude.

Receptionist didn't like the baseball team staying,

Everyone was very nice and made our stay comfortable. Will always use marriot!

The furniture showed wear. The hot tub was not operational.

Was nice and clean for the most part. Questionable hotels surrounding the property. Felt safe. Was quiet.

The walls are a bit thin so you will likely hear much background noise. The outside is well lit, which feels more safe but also has a lot of light that comes into the room around the drapes. A bit annoying but not intolerable.

Would have preferred earlier breakfast hours i.e., start at 6:30 am.

It was clean but dog barking in room next door was annoying! Mentioned at front desk but was no help!

The room was small and difficult to fin room for two medium sized suitcases.

Comfy room, very clean, good breakfast.

Everything was very nice The employees were friendly and helpful The only bad thing was the bed was too firm But in the defense of the hotel we have only stayed 1 place that had a comfortable bed for us

Everything was great here at then Fairfield Inn in Cedar Rapids. Great staff, great accommodations. Everything was excellent!

3/4 ice machines don’t work. No room service for trash, towels or service. “Front desk, don’t blame me”!!! Room, very average.

Pets

Nice hotel. Nice local diners/taverns nearby. Very nice breakfast!

Enjoy Fairfield very much. This hotel was no exception. Clean and quiet!!
