The Sherwood Guest House was excellent. It is immaculate, comfortable, and conveniently located. The proprietors are warm and welcoming and ensured that we were well taken care of... We hope to visit again.

Vivienne’s guest house is perfection. Our family loved the decor, the amenities and the breakfast. It was very easy to visit Edinburgh from this location. Vivienne is so friendly and welcoming.

We loved our stay here. It was close to the city center and had a bus stop right out front that made it easy to get anywhere we needed. Several shops and food options near by. Vivienne was amazing and was great with giving us suggestions and recommendations for places to go and things to do. Breakfast was offered in the morning it was great. Would def recommend and would absolutely stay here again. Thanks again

We had a great stay for the three nights we were in Edinburgh. Great selection at breakfast, bus stop just outside the guest house and a few pubs close as well.

We enjoyed our stay at Sherwood Guest House a lot. The room is a bit small, but really comfortable with a cooker and free tea and coffee. There's also a microwave, which we didn't use, but anyway great. Vivienne is an extremely kind, open minded and helpful host. The breakfast was also very, very good. There's a super bus connection right outside the house.We can do nothing but highly recommend Sherwood Guest House.

Good location.Viennese is an helpful, friendly, interactive and excellent host. Great breakfast with much varieties and the rolls are freshly baked. Clear instructions given regarding the stay and great help in advising places to visit. Fun talking to Viennie.

Wonderful place to stay! Walking location to all the main attractions downtown and Viviane is a great host. Very clean. Cute breakfast room as well.

Sehr nette Vermieterin. Süsse Zimmer und leckeres Frühstück. Sehr sauber. Ziemlich zentral gelegen....man kann bequem zu verschiedenen Sehnswürdigkeiten laufen, oder den Bus nehmen, der direkt vor der Tür hält. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Viagem 3 dias na cidade com a minha esposa e nao poderia ter escolhido lugar melhor. Com um ponto de onibus bem na frente da casa, era possivel ir para qualquer lugar da cidade com as linhas que ali passavam. A anfitriã diariamente preparava um café na manhã que nos preparava para o resto do dia. Fora que o local, tanto o quarto quanto o resto da casa eram impecaveis. Com certeza voltaria outra vez. Vivienne was a great host 👌She began her help prior to us getting there. She was very welcoming and she always made herself very available with transportstion, pub and supermarket info. It was clean cozy room with nice view of her yard. The breakfast were very nice and she made you feel at home She even played soft classical Music in the background and pleasant details like she even put a chocolate Easter bunny 🐰 in each persons place on Easter 🐣 Sunday. Vivienne was very helpful and full of information! The house is lovely and right on the bus line to take you to the major attractions (and hop on hop off busses). It’s even walkable. The room was small, but functional, as advertised. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Edinburgh!

Our host, Vivienne, was phenomenal! The Sherwood house is a beautiful property and obviously well cared for. The bed was comfortable and we had a large bathroom in our room. There is a bus stop just a few feet from the property. We will definitely stay here again.
